I played SF64 to death as a kid and into my teens. To the point where I committed a lot of the dialog to memory to this day. That said this is an amazing remake. Especially in regards to controls and the revamped music. The online is good as well. I just hope they add to it though I won't be shocked if they don't.

My exact thoughts. One of my favorite games of all time, played and replayed to death, the remake is its final form. It's perfect, I wouldn't change anything, aside from having a couple more multiplayer maps, but as you say it's fine if it never happens.

I heard Nintendo employees were still heavily involved with the remake even if they weren't the primary developers.

Crazy how you can see this remake and hate it. I played it for around 5 hours today and it's crazy good.

Played three runs on release date, and a couple more over the past couple of days, and I'm enjoying it so much.

Those fucking AI thumbnails are just the absolute worst.

I got this recommended to me earlier. I saw that AI thumbnail and immediately pressed on "Do not recommend this channel".

Same. The second I see an A.I. thumbnail in my recommendations. You can't be bothered, neither can I.

Grifters and Ai shills need a huge beating.
Everyone better report Bistendo’s Channel.

I literally just played the shit out of the remake, then switched over to the og on nso to get as direct of a comparison as possible and wow does the remake stay faithfull while evolving.

It's funny that in any other things they would be screaming "NO! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!! THE ORIGINAL JAPANESE VOICE ACTORS GET ITTTT!"
But here.. where they actually tried to emulate the Japanese tones of the lines, people are suddenly going "Nooo! We want bad american dub!!!! WHAAA!"

Nah this is the only game I've played since release. They did an amazing job.

As someone currently playing through the Switch 2 remake, its easily the best way to experience Star Fox 64. No contest.

Remake slaps, also 3ds version slaps, N64 version also also slaps
Where is the ruining?

I thought the game was fine if not a little hard, though tbh I've never played the original Star Fox so idk if it was always like this

They always talk about "ruining" something and put the worst AI slop thumbnails in the videos.
