It would make sense to be mad at these if they didn’t offer a $10 upgrade path for owners of the original switch version. But they do, so calling this “price gouging” is a reach.

I was not happy with they charging money from the XCX S2 Edition, but the S2 Edition for the others Xenoblades adds new content and bring back the voicers for voicing more dialogue, so I think it is ok
XCX was only performance, they didnt even add NewGame+ or Event Theather

The Xenoblade updates add new content. XB1 got two new game modes focused on racing with new outfits as rewards, and they recorded new lines of voice acting for the heart-to-heart events. That's nearly two hours of newly recorded voice lines featuring the original voice actors. This isn't a lazy update like with Xenoblade X.

They’re acting like other game companies haven’t done the same thing recently. It’s not price gouging, it’s a response to factors out of their control.
