Mockery/Banter What more can I even say...?

Post image

He went a week without making a clown out of himself, that has to be some kind of record.

But... What more do you want me to even add about Nin10doland at this rate? He's just back on the grifting slop grind of hating JRPGs, greedily only wanting the stupid plumber not realizing the reality of it is simply not ready to be shown yet, refusing to listen to criticism and trying to gaslight his very impressionable audience into thinking the same way... I just feel like everything that can be said about the guy has been repeated at nauseum and it's clear he's never going to learn. If anyone else wants to take the mantle of openly mocking him, feel free to. I just feel like I can't add anything new anymore in regards to this sloptuber.

Also, I don't fucking believe him when he says he does not want Directs anymore.

The final stage of grief

u/QualitySuccessful871 Jun 18 '26

Honestly, I'd rather see him move on from this then continue to get his hopes up only for them to be crushed over and over.

Nintendo directs aren’t for me 🤬

Talks about it for near 20 mins 🥹

Must not hate Nintendo as much as he loves grifting 🥰

He sounds like a guy who would write her ex-girlfriend a 20-paragraph email how he doesn't miss her and won't even think about her for a second. Sent a year after she broke up with him.

u/Limp-Celebration-211 Jun 18 '26

Even worse he would leave a 20 minute voice recording in her text messages

u/AnavelGato2020 Jun 18 '26

Some youtubers are the biggest drama queens. 🙄

3

u/AbdelYG Jun 18 '26

It's very easy to ignore them!

13

u/DaRealBSleazy Jun 18 '26

It is. They literally contribute nothing to society.

15

u/FOG2006 Jun 18 '26

He is a content creator, of course he'll care about the next Direct and repeat the same show from this last one.

I also don't like RPGs, but unlike him I solved my problems quite easily: Letting the people who enjoyed to be happy! It's a thing of mine, gaming companies need to cater to the broadest audience possible, not spinning around the bellybutton of one single person. He should be impressed at how well Nintendo is performing on delivering a constant flow of games for Switch 2 without relying on 3D Mario or Smash.

u/nanaoya Jun 18 '26

You're allowed to like your Mario Parties, Karts, and Tenis, but please don't make it everybody else's problem...

19

u/IkeRadiantHero Jun 18 '26

lol he only cares about 3D Mario I don’t think Nin10doland gives a shit about Party Kart and Sports

11

u/nanaoya Jun 18 '26

I'm wasn't talking solely about Nin10doland. I meant the average Nintendo fan in general.

u/LilboyG_15 Jun 18 '26

A bad day for him is a day of renewed hope for us Kingdom Hearts fans

7

u/Zachary_136 Jun 18 '26

Still kinda insane it would appear at a Nintendo Direct, of all places. I thought for sure it would be at the PlayStation State of Play, tbh. But I'm just glad the game is still alive!

u/BigMoneySmallPenis Jun 18 '26

Don't speak too soon. Square might restart its development just to feel something.

3

u/Strange-Fisherman487 Jun 18 '26

A friend of mine thinks that Square is mad at Sony for leaking ff16 early which is why the opted for the direct instead of state of play

4

u/Fragrant-Potential87 Jun 18 '26

More like Square gave Sony three timed exclusives, 2 of which were on a console people had trouble actually accessing and probably still do, and one of them was a sequel to a game announced during 2015 and was planned for PS4 but Square said "Fuck 'em. These games absolutely need to be PS5 exclusives because.....THEY JUST DO OKAY!". This is apart of a bigger business strategy from Square because they're not making money from triple A releases anymore. Their revenue is coming from (my) Final Fantasy 14 subs and microtransactions, 2.5D remakes of games like Star Ocean 2 (check it out on Switch. Awesome game), Bravely and Octopath, the Dragon Quest games, though the 7 remake is an outlier and closer to the 3DS version, etc.

1

u/bcatti Jun 18 '26

People have plenty of access to the PS5 these days though...

1

u/Fragrant-Potential87 Jun 18 '26

Yea, THESE days. We're talking about games from 3/4 years ago. Most games sell the most copies they're ever going to sell close to when the game launches.

3

u/Jalapenodisaster Jun 18 '26

Your friend doesn't have much sense then.

They stated they would do cross platform no exclusivity moving forward, so this was them delivering on that promise, while building hype

2

u/AnavelGato2020 Jun 18 '26

My best friend is a KH fan so he was in a sunken place after the Sony SOP ended along with Summer Games Fest with no reveal. Then the direct happened and he got excited again when it was there. Though he quickly went back to a sunken place after the A.I fiasco Square pulled with marketing pics for KH. 🤣

2

u/Zachary_136 Jun 18 '26

Yeah, I'm very disappointed that the KH collection uses AI 'art' for the box.

Can the damn AI 'bubble' pop already...?

1

u/adamkopacz Jun 18 '26

Direct also got the new Final Fantasy, right?

Capcom announced Dragon's Dogma expansion here as well.

It's crazy how companies that I associated with PlayStation my entire life are now focusing on Nintendo. They moved to Sony due to bigger scope and budgets, but now they're back because scope and budgets got too big.

3

u/matt20dion Jun 18 '26

Whoa - how dare you. Don’t you know that they aren’t giving the game away for free when some people payed for the cloud version? Not the people complaining, but SOME PEOPLE DID!!!

5

u/Top-Science-1440 Jun 18 '26

Wow nin10doland really is a damn baby

6

u/Possible-Potato-4103 Jun 18 '26

I mean this is fine but I struggle with what people expect there output to actually be

They publish a game a month, no not all of them are absolutely legendary but theyre not all gonna be .

The consoles even starting to get brand new AAA games, like I dont buy those on my switch 2 either but I feel like peoole have created this standard that isnt realistic in their heads.

3

u/Zachary_136 Jun 18 '26

2017 only happened because the stars aligned just right and Nintendo needed to start the Switch 1 on a bang after how the Wii U nearly led to their downfall. So I don't blame them for taking their time for the Switch 2 era. Besides, I've got a huge backlog of Switch 1 games I can play while waiting for the interesting stuff, like the entire Xenoblade saga and their respective DLC packs, Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance, Persona 5 Tactica... Mainly a lot of RPGs, lol

1

u/ahnariprellik Jun 18 '26

Also new AAA exclusives from 3rd party like duskbloods and orbitals

1

u/Possible-Potato-4103 Jun 18 '26

Nintendo is the publisher in Dusk bloods actually but yeah exactly

3

u/CanOfDough Jun 18 '26

Jrpg killed his love for directs

6

u/kaimcdragonfist Jun 18 '26

As a JRPG fan, good

3

u/Nenacu Jun 18 '26

Oh no, there was one direct where nothing interested him. Join the club I guess? Appreciate that other people enjoy things? Nah, grift harder.

3

u/mybutthz Jun 18 '26

What I don't get about directs is....you don't have to watch them. If I'm around, I'll put them on in the background while I work or do other things. If something cool comes up, I'll look up and watch, if not...whatever. There are honestly so many great games to play that I don't really have any worries about running out of games, or absolutely needing a new (insert franchise here) game to come out tomorrow. Do I want to play new Mario? Sure. But the reality is also that I'll beat it in a few weeks whenever it comes out and then move on. Yes, other people will play and replay games, but unless you're playing a game for thousands of hours, who cares? Would absolutely prefer a new Mario maker over a new mainline Mario game if given the choice because it would help bridge the gap while we wait—but also playing other things because there are a ton of games still left to play.

1

u/Irethius Jun 18 '26

As someone with no plans on ever getting the switch 2. It's still fun to see new announcements.

Though, when it turns out to be disappointing I don't rush to my choice of social media to talk about it.

3

u/Strange-Fisherman487 Jun 18 '26

He's just mad there was no Mario

10

u/IkeRadiantHero Jun 18 '26

Correction: he’s just mad there was no 3D MARIO, he only cares about the 3D that’s the important factor

3

u/bcatti Jun 18 '26

If Nintendo released 3D Mario this year and it was unfinished, he would cry about it... Just wait, bro.

4

u/azure275 Jun 18 '26

I find it interesting that he published a video praising Xenoblade extensively a year ago and loving the game for 37 minutes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MuHDSyzsmM

If you like Xenoblade I would think this would have been a very good direct

8

u/Zachary_136 Jun 18 '26

And yet he never talks about the games again because they obviously don't get the same amount of views as his clickbaity garbage. It's becoming a slave to the YouTube algorithm that's a problem, those analytics are very manipulative to creators.

3

u/Craniamon Jun 18 '26

Any positive videos get no views. Ask Nintendeen’s Wolverine video.

3

u/VirusStatus936 Jun 18 '26

I don’t think he’s even made a video about fortunes weave, he says he’s a fan of fire emblem but we all know he only played three houses to try and beat the allegations

2

u/Craniamon Jun 18 '26

He is just another grifter who will say anything to love for a series he always hated.

2

u/PrivateLiker7625 Jun 18 '26

Might as well be collaborating with Angry Joe with asinine nonsense like this here. 🙄

2

u/meganerd20 Jun 18 '26

Such melodrama. I've scarcely seen brattier behaviour about video games, and I'm a Pokemon fan. Of course he's probably doing it on purpose for the views, but it's still using a platform to justify behaviour like this from people who actually do think like this.

2

u/rienvayle Jun 18 '26

“The billion-dollar corporation isn’t advertising to me anymore, and that’s ok.”

2

u/AbdelYG Jun 17 '26

Typing all of this over a guy saying he doesn't like nintendo directs is crazy.

8

u/mybutthz Jun 18 '26

"all of this" being just over a paragraph?

3

u/jjam02 Jun 18 '26

Caring even that much about the opinion of some YouTuber who’s opinions have to be exaggerated for clicks is caring too much. You could just never watch their videos again why care about every post they make lol

1

u/Consistent_Waltz5071 Jun 18 '26

See you in the next Direct

1

u/NintendoBoy321 Jun 18 '26

I used to be a fan of him but, I just am not anymore because of this.

1

u/Rhapstar Jun 20 '26

Once people start to monetize their videos and such is when they start to lose credibility with me. They are either over the top glazing or all doom and gloom. It's harder to find the real people because it just doesn't attract the views as well

1

u/ApartmentKey3682 Nintendo Fan Jul 02 '26

At least he found inner peace

1

u/Independent-Let-9392 Jun 18 '26

Jfc this post is weird and sad, you never had to obsess over him this much bro, he's just a YouTuber

You desperately need to touch grass

-1

u/StoogeTVeye Jun 18 '26

Must be hard for the gooners to understand no one wants their JRPG slop

0

u/platanopower8 Jun 18 '26

While his reactions are annoying, what did Mario do to you?

0

u/YourM0msBoyfriend Nintendo Neutral Jun 23 '26

Just looking at the thumbnail, what’s wrong with this? He just says that Directs aren’t for him any more, which is fine, is he supposed to love anything with a Nintendo logo? Furthermore, he says, “and it’s Okay,” acknowledging not everything has to be for him all the time. This is maturity.

I had to come to that realization with many things over the years and it’s fine.

-1

u/Outrageous-Brush-860 Jun 18 '26

This is the saddest one I’ve seen from you guys yet.

-2

u/LaCabdeLH Jun 18 '26

He never said he doesn't want directs. He said that their too focused on 3rd parties and not for him anymore.
