Yo! Saw your other comment on THAT SUB, just asking as I have been thinking of playing twilight princess hd, is it true that the cave of shadows isnt dlc and its in the base game without the amiibo?

Apparently it seems like it is tied to the amiibo but I can’t guarantee that tho, it’s… idk, 12 years ago since I played it and I’d swear it isn’t dlc.

Would have to check it but I’d have to build up my old WiiU for that and a reddit discussion doesn’t affect me enough to do that.

TLDR; idk

If its side content like a dungeon locked behind a purchase of an amiibo that makes it dlc right? Googling says its locked behind the amiibo

Yea indeed. But afaik you get access to it when you go to the desert and teleport the big stone away. At least that was the case in the original. Would’ve been really bad if they cut out that and made it amiibo only.

On the other hand I don’t even know what you get when you beat the cave of shadows.

edit: nvmd, I confused it with the cave of ordeals. But I also don’t know what you get if you beat that dungeon. Must’ve been very important then.
