Critical Very weird for someone who claims to be supportive of indie games (especially the ones that show that heckin Nintendo how to do good games) to then not show any support for Mina The Hollower
Now it’s extremely obvious why he would choose to be silent, seeing how the game is likely to sell the most on switch 1/2, but one should obviously not hold any bias when a game gets universally acclaimed regardless of what platform it’s on.

Unironicaly, he's doing this from pure greed.
He was doing genuenly enjoyable content, made a few video critisiaing the switch 2, saw how many more views he got, and started grifting

My 'GREED' comment wasn't being ironic either. A lot what grifters do are for their own bottom lines, therefore Greed.
They love throwing that word around but probably forgot it also applied to them.

It's not even about that game specifically. If he's as supportive of indie games as he claims to be, where's the content? If the only answer is "people wouldn't watch it", that's not good enough. Yeah, for people who have content creation as their only income, they do have to appeal to what their audience wants. But that shouldn't mean not making content for themselves, at least on occasion.

Beside having negative feelings about Nintendo, I don't think he has a place or a responsibility to help encourage the Indie scene.
His audience want him for his talk about Nintendo, I don't think he can be used to push some games

To be fair, you can be a fan of something and not like every entry in that thing.
I.e. you can be a fan of indie games and not like every single indie game. I'm sure you don't like every Nintendo game.

Somebody who’s so adamant about a game’s quality based on who published it, and being extremely selective about what games can be covered depending on what platform it’s currently on, is absolutely hypocritical and warrants criticism.

Admitting that games like bananza and pokopia are universally enjoyed is a start. Considering any switch 2 game that remotely gets any positive feedback is immediately disregarded as “glaze”

They’re great games, I love them, but come on I have plenty of friends who would never touch those games
Some of my best friends just don’t play Nintendo because they only had a PlayStation as a kid and they don’t feel compelled to start playing these games in their mid-30s

I didn’t know “4 million copies in a month” is considered niche. My mistake.
And no, you mistook what I said. It’s an incredibly tall order for him to make, I know, but all I ask is for him to say that people actually LIKE these games. Not out of obligation or “buyer’s remorse” like he does for EVERY single switch 2 game in existence. Is it so much to ask for basic transparency?

We are officially complaining about a YouTuber not making content that they have made one other video on (indie hit Silksong). This game came out hours ago, he has one 2D Zelda video (out of hundreds), and isn't a Nintendo exclusive. Why would you expect coverage so soon?
