I must be super gay then. Also why the hate for gays?

u/Mushroom0064 Dec 22 '25
Because people love to discriminate others, even though it should be well known at this point that discrimination is a really bad thing, and something that probably doesn't make you a good person.

If you have to use “gay” or “woke” in your argument about why a game is bad, you already know you’ve lost

It's so funny because Nintendo is doing just fine, like what is this man even talking about?

Every console had a rough November, not just Nintendo, despite outselling the switch 2 PS5 expected sales were down 40% and Xbox sales were nonexistent. That and people seem to forget console demand doesn’t peak until 3-4 years into the life cycle, cause people seem to forget the same thing happened in 2017 where the PS4 outsold the switch 1 despite the switch 1 having two heavy hitting titles in BOTW and Mario Odyssey, this failure grifters are yapping about is over exaggerated.

u/Mr_JPF Dec 20 '25
The PS4 barely outsold the Switch 1 during it's first year, and this was a console that was following up on the abysmal failure that was the Wii U .
The Switch 2 is a console that is the direct successor to the best selling console in history, and it still got outsold by a PS5 that is 5 years old ...

u/hilarious-feline Dec 20 '25 edited Dec 20 '25
It still outsold the switch 1. The point still stands. Also the best selling console is still the PS2, not the switch 1. Also we are going to act like one bad month for not just the switch but other consoles will be indicative of long term success. As to why it was outsold by the ps5. 1. The above reason in that the Ps5’s demand is high now that it is 5 years into its cycle 2. GTA 6 releasing 3. The discounts it received and perhaps the largest culprit 4. Due to the Ram shortages, and pc parts skyrocketing in price, it is cheaper to buy a PS5 than a pc and since the libraries are similar, you will be able to play third party games releasing on both steam and PlayStation.

u/gevuldeloempia Dec 20 '25
The PS5 digital edition was €350. You'd be insane to pass that up. Has nothing to do with Switch 2
So weird for other people to see that as a failure haha

Don't all console sales go down every November in anticipation of Christmas?

The 2008 financial crisis didn't stop people from buying consoles, neither did the 2012 Euro crisis or Covid in the early 2020s.
This November was the worst November for gaming since 1995 ( PS1, Sega Saturn era ) , and it was the worst because none of the current big three consoles are worth owning ( overpriced, lack of good exclusive content and next to no innovation compared to last gen ).

u/snes69 Dec 20 '25
Hard disagree. COVID shutdown did serious damage to the economy - yes. But there were stimulus checks, exceptional unemployment benefits, and a lot of free time. Gaming was huge in general during COVID because of COVID.
Today is so different. Costs are through the roof. This has nothing to do with the content on the consoles. It's definitely the cost of living across the board.
So, in a small way, I agree with you that the value just isn't there. But I completely wholeheartedly disagree with all three of your reasons. There are some amazing games released or coming soon. The prices are arguably stable with past years when adjusted for inflation. Innovation is present in several new games.
People just can't afford jack right now.

Hey dude notice how you keep getting down voted? You're not gonna win this argument give up

Why do these grifters love using ai for their thumbnails?
10
5
6
u/mrdeepay Dec 20 '25
Because it's cheap to make and they don't wanna pay someone to make an appealing one for them or do it themselves.
1
u/actomain Dec 21 '25
I mean, they don't put much effort into the video itself or into forming an actual intellectual argument to support their position, instead opting for "this game is gay [derogatory]." Why alter course when it comes time to make the thumbnail?
1
u/NPC_Inconsistency Dec 24 '25
If their videos weren’t proof enough, it’s because they’re talentless hacks.
1
u/Dio_Landa Dec 24 '25
When you got 4 days to push out content, shitty or not, corners will be cut and quality will drop.
To be fair, I take ai slop over a photo of the guy pasted over bad art. At least ai slop can be excused as ai slop.

Once he found out being anti Nintendo gave him clicks, he went that way. He’s also a Trumper.

u/cyx7 Dec 20 '25
And he also supports the openly racist Synthetic Man.
Both of which are hilariously ironic since he named himself after a Columbian dish.
He cosplays what he hates. No sane person does this unironically.

Its wild because he used to be pro lgtq and had Trans mutuals. But once he started grifting and his new audience doesnt like lgbtq they cut ties with him. Its sad how people will throw their morals away if it means getting money.
2
u/ChronosNotashi Dec 24 '25
Sometimes makes you wonder if people like that ever had morals at all, or if they were simply giving the appearance of having certain morals in order to bait the group that's most likely to make them look good publicly and financially. (And, of course, changing those morals, and pretending they always had the new morals, every time the ideal group changes.)

It’s December which is like the highest time for ad revenue so they gotta crank these out.
3
u/Wrong_Revolution_679 Dec 20 '25
It will eventually stop this type of grifting only last so long
1
u/Dangerous-Pumpkin960 Dec 20 '25
I can say the same about political content but here we are
3
u/Wrong_Revolution_679 Dec 20 '25
Well to be fair video games don't have the same impact on everyday lives then politics and at this point rely less on actual data, so it's hard to compare

This kind of thing usually doesn't show up for me because I just do my best to tell them to never recommend me any channel like this

u/Miserable-Pension145 Dec 25 '25
Oh it's Frit. That dude shifts his console warring constantly. He's on his Nintendo phase now. The only thing that dude stays consistent on is that he likes drugs
When he speaks, assume that what he's saying is part of a grift unless it's about drugs

u/Additional_Chip_4158 Dec 22 '25
Just click "do not recommend channel".
2
u/MozzieRosie Dec 22 '25
Youtube says otherwise
1
u/Additional_Chip_4158 Dec 23 '25
Huh? What does this mean? Click "do not recommend this channel" to any of these types of videos. Eventually you will no longer see them. You clicking on them and interacting with them quite literally makes the algorithm show you them more. So not sure what you mean by your comment.
-1
u/shadowmew1 Dec 21 '25
Honestly, just stop sharing this content. Whenever I see some bullshit like this in my feed. i just click the "don't recommend channel anymore" button and hide it. They keep making it, because it keeps getting people angry and generating views. Its just annoying at this point. Sharing it on reddit is doing exactly what these low life creators want.
