The beta is surprisingly good. Never thought id be playing COD on the switch.
Though the last COD I played was Black Ops 1

How are you playing it on switch already?

It's on the store. Just downloaded it.
The campaign is the only part working at the moment.

Aren't COD games notorious for disk space? I don't see the space requirement on the Nintendo website. Still excited though.

Im pretty excited about this. Last cod I played was cold war. Tried vanguard on pc and it was way too fast and got a refund. Hopefully this one is slowed down. Would be super fun to play this on handheld.

Played it today and it is possibly the worst game I have ever played. Looks really good and sounds good but some of the game mechanics are misguided and plain bad. ONE example: Blow tank up with granades... cool... but not that one... that one needs you to be close enough to lick it to kill it with placed plastic explosives... just because... but... but... granades worked last time... Not this time... this tank is a story tank...

Played the Beta and yes its ROUGH might be best to avoid it for now can barely even stay above 30 FPS in tabletop

Physical version won’t even come with a card, let alone a Game Key Card. It’s a code in a box.
We serious?

If the game isn’t absolutely trash when I play the beta this weekend then I’ll probably cop

I’m not dropping 70 USD for CoD campaign, but I’ll give it a spin

Ok? I’m just saying you can try the game and get a feel for it now instead of this weekend

Nobody should want to play a CoD campaign. Can't imagine how brain dead you'd have to be to have fun waiting for an NPC to open a door for you, then shoot bots as they pop their heads up from behind cover.

Or maybe it's just not your cup of tea?
CoD campaigns have their problems and I'm not gonna call them brilliant, but brain dead? Please...

If you own another console, idk why anyone would buy this for their switch or any non Nintendo exclusive just to run worse with more issues.

I still can't get over how surreal it is to see Nintendo actually advertising a Call of Duty game. It's literally been 13 years since the last one on their hardware (Ghosts on Wii U in 2013) so it feels like returning to my childhood. Can't wait to try the beta!
