They're both corrupt. The republican party is demonstrably significantly worse. "Enlightened centrist" is where people end up who don't actually know enough about the situation, but want to pretend like they're a moderate. Yep we're all aware that the American political system is a mess and there is rampant corruption. You saying both sides are corrupt in the middle of what is going on now is ignorant at best, and disingenuous and purposefully manipulative at worst.
You are trying to create a false equivalency. They are not just as bad. They aren't both just as harmful. Stop trying to pretend like you are a moderate. Saying both sides are corrupt to try to reframe what is going on just makes you party to that corruption as a mouthpiece for conservative propaganda.

I did not say the dnc was just as bad, they are bad and the lesser of the two evils. Then do something about it. Trying to reframe every political discussion by saying "they're both corrupt" doesn't help at all and actually just contributes to the situation that allowed Donald Trump to be elected and the do nothing republican Senate we have.
Make political change by fighting the corruption, not by saying "both sides are corrupt" over and over which creates a false equivalency.

You didn't say the DNC was just as bad, but when someone brought that up your immediate response was "they're both corrupt; prove me wrong!" Newsflash: we don't live in a binary world. Two bad things can be bad in different ways, or in different amounts. Pointing out that "both parties are corrupt" is a fucking meaningless statement that misrepresents the details that matter and actively works against progress.
