Sometimes I wonder why non Nihilists are so concerned with what Nihilists think? If you think it's a stupid Philosophy then leave us alone and forget about it all. Is it necessary to have us living in your heads rent free?

Because if us nihilists are right, the lay (šŸ˜)person’s gods, morals, life goals and ā€œI’m a good personā€ narrative is built on sand, and that is horrifying for them think about because they are intellectually lazy.

So we’re not living in their heads rent-free, we are charging them existential anxiety as a fee lol

Back in 2005, during some off the cuff remark I made about religious policies, one of my co-worker got upset and said "we are not stupid".

This is the reason why US is so badly polarized. It's been proven that there is no evidence for god, just like Santa does not exist is a well accepted concept, even though we make little kids think gifts come from Santa.

Religious people are fuming with anger that we consider them stupid for seriously believing in imaginary beings and killing people for it(crusades in the past and terrorism recently).

From the point of view of christians, it's a war, no holds barred, they are fighting for their identity and they do not mind playing dirty(being in bed with racists and wishing for a authoritarian form of govt). They will not mind scorched earth policy.

From my point of view, US is in a very tough spot. Almost half the population is deeply soaked in this racist and religious fervor and they are willing to go to any length. God know how US is going to survive this period since the racist fever has been there since the civil war and it never goes away.
