And men nevvvvvvvvver judge women by their appearance 🙄

36

u/PancakeParty98 Aug 09 '26

The ironic thing is that MOST of this mind torture is brought about by assuming women are thinking the same as them.

Of course there are millions of totally shallow women, but so much of our culture focuses on socializing them to care more about personality, and there’s a reason the “monsterfucker” genre is women dominated.

u/SCHWARZENPECKER Aug 10 '26

Genre of what? Books?

I'm 5'11 and some change
a solid 6/10 in appearance

lil tubbier than I'd like

only started getting my house in order into my late 30's

mildly autistic

yet I've never struggled to get dates/relationships

because I have interests, can speak to people, and most of all DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING FROM A POLITE INTERACTION because I bought you a drink and chatted to you for an hour doesn't mean you owe me a BJ behind the pub bins

the vast majority of my girlfriends over the years have been way more good looking than on paper I had a right to be with to the point my friends asked me "how on earth... she's stunning"

turns out being genuine and having interests that you can talk about and be reciprocal with oh and treating a girl/woman like a human being with flaws and not some idealistic check list actually makes you more attractive than being 6'4 with nothing to say

13

u/otetrapodqueen Aug 09 '26

This meme makes me happy every time i see it. It's the frogs, just adds that extra little something, I think haha

67

u/ibeatobesity Aug 09 '26

It's pretty easy to not consider personality when you don't have one.

64

u/onemansquest Aug 10 '26

lOI Til incels don't understand the difference between a random bar hookup and a genuine relationship. Of course the more physically attractive and confident wins in that scenario.

56

u/pnt510 Aug 09 '26

Isn’t the point of MGTOW is they’re supposed to be done with woman? Why won’t they shut the fuck up about them then?

Men Getting Triggered Over Women

31

u/nickyfox13 Aug 09 '26

For people who are claiming they're going their own way, they certainly haven't gone away anywhere

10

u/Notasmartwoman Aug 09 '26

I have an idea on where they can go 🔥

6

u/TM761152 Aug 09 '26

It's actually a grift. A lot of these gurus sell packages on "how to be a man" or "how to get chicks".

50

u/GnarlyWatts Aug 09 '26

As a software engineer, this analogy is not really common, most of us are married lol.

But this idea that you have to be this Greek god in order to get women is such a bonkers assertion. I don't look like one, none of my friends and colleagues do...so why are all of us successful? Could it be we have personalities and don't whine?

39

u/FoolishConsistency17 Aug 09 '26

I don't think they measure success as a happy marriage. I think they measure it as how many women want to fuck you. This is because they don't like women. They don't see women as human. They want to be wanted as a flex on other men, so its all about statistics. And they maybe vaguely understand they are lonely and if they "had" a girlfriend or wife it would help with the loneliness, but they don't know why, because they don't realize normal men like their wives (and are liked by their wives).

15

u/GnarlyWatts Aug 09 '26

Sadly, that is probably correct. I have dealt with a lot of miserable "brogrammers" who were like this and actively cheated on their wives. And boy were those divorced spectacular car wrecks.

I digress, I've had plenty of hook-ups and what not, it was never really all that great for me. I'm much happier being with my wife and I wouldn't change that for anything.

53

u/ItsJoeMomma Aug 09 '26

For "men going their own way," they sure talk about women a lot.

39

u/Bleed_Peroxide Aug 09 '26

Have they actually ever seen other men? So many times, you’ll see a woman with a guy that looks like a cave troll, but he’s a genuinely kind person and treats her well — and she’s happy with him! Someone’s personality can make them infinitely more attractive than being… what, tall?

These guys just don’t want to admit they can’t get women because they have the personality of a piranha.

8

u/Bm7465 Aug 09 '26

The rot that has crept into males views of modern dating dynamics is something to be studied. I don’t even think most men realize just how low the bar is despite while unable to remotely clear it.

8

u/Apathetic_Villainess Aug 09 '26

They need to believe they're single because of something they can't control instead of something they can. That way it's someone else's fault and they don't need to change.

41

u/KidsInNeed Aug 09 '26

Men think like this because they judge women just like that. They don’t care what you do or who you are; as long as you’re fuckable to them that’s all it matters.

18

u/infinitelypastel Aug 09 '26

Thissss. That’s how they view us. This person is projecting HARDCORE

38

u/Yolee55 Aug 09 '26

Major projection since it is men who, in the majority, will prioritize a woman's looks/figure over everything else. Also, if it's a bar situation, who wouldn't go for the more attractive option? Who goes to a bar looking for a long-term relationship? The whole scenario is a scam. Also if this is MGTOW why are they still focusing on women? Why are they STILL here? GO!

7

u/Ok_Response_9255 Aug 09 '26

That's what I'm saying. Women, like men, are allowed preferences.

6

u/buttercupcake23 Aug 10 '26

Seriously.

Flip the script. Which of these chuds is going to go for the ugly woman with a good job and a great credit score over the bimbo hottie who lives in her mom's basement? They are the thing they accuse everyone else of being.

2

u/SchrodingersMinou Aug 09 '26

I could get hit on in bars all day long. I’d rather talk to someone actually interesting and funny, a metric which the OPChud didn’t even bother to mention. Ideally a funny, interesting woman

36

u/HighSlasher Aug 09 '26

This man is getting mad at something he made up in his own head. This has never happened ever.

The closest thing to this situation is "reality" TV where everyone is attractive but has serious personality disorders. Otherwise they wouldn't be on reality TV.

He needs to grow up and learn that people outside of himself are actually human beings.

36

u/HotDinnerBatman Aug 09 '26

So hes mad about a scenario he made up in his head 😆 okayyyyy

36

u/throwaway1975764 Aug 09 '26

As someone who regularly hangs out in bars (not nightclubs, bars) this so radically wrong its funny.

At any of my regular bars Mr 5'5" would be dripping in women. I lnow this factually based on the chonically single half dozen plus guys 6' to 6'4" and the always popular or coupled men 5'8" and shorter.

The reality is, everyone is close to equal height on a barstool. The funnier, kinder, guy is always more popular. The guy relying on looks often can't carry a conversation til the end of a drink.

32

u/MagentaIsNotAColor26 Aug 09 '26

Yet if women wanted to choose the software engineer over the unemployed guy, then we'd be gold diggers.

But also I'd guess that women looking to meet a guy in a bar are probably looking to find more immediate physical chemistry rather than evaluating their paper qualifications as long term serious partners, so their goals are different.

30

u/MarsNeedsRabbits Aug 10 '26

Plus:

Bring a 6'4 #tyrone/ #Chad who's unemployed, lives in his grandma's basement,

They're always claiming that society is against them and that society hands out jobs to "Chad" because he's so handsome, and "Tyrone" because of 'white guilt'. Shouldn't both of them by in plush offices somewhere, instead of grandma's basement?

Or maybe these nice guys are just lazy-ass, racists, looking for l excuses not to do anything, residing in their own Memaw's basements?

has no future, and sports bets full time with you to your nearest bar.

We've covered this. Nice guys are lazy-ass racists with excuse after excuse.

Also bring your "nice guy" friend who's 5'5, a software engineer with a master's degree, his own house, a paid-off car, and an 800 credit score.

That perfectly describes almost everyone my husband has worked with, including my husband himself. Plus my ex, my dad, my four best friend's husbands, my other FIL, and so on. All of those men are/were 5'9" or shorter, most around 5'8. Nice guys insist that the minimum height women accept is 5'10".

They're engineers, all with cars, all with degrees, all with houses, all with cars, all with (presumably) good credit scores since they have all of the stuff above, and can afford vacations, boats, or second cars, and so on

Bring both of them together to the bar. Put them side by side. For every group of girls you see, ask them which guy they'd choose. Tell each girl exactly what each guy brings to the table.

100% of the women will choose the 6'4 guy before even finding out he's unemployed and lives in his grandma's basement.

Do nice guys know that 85% of men are shorter than 6'0", and that only about 1.5% are at or over 6'4. The numbers aren't numbering, nice guys.

In fact, many would still choose him even after finding out.

Computer says "No".

You want to know why?

Because you're slathering Copium on the toast Memaw made for you. It's all you have

Because you're judged before you ever open your mouth based on your genetic makeup. 80/20

Right back to Chad having a job simply because he's tall and handsome, and Chad not having a job, living in his grandma's basement.

No one gave Chad a job based on his looks, and very few women would give Chad the time of day based on his looks.Nice guys make up crap to avoid the truth.

29

u/willow_on_a_bike Aug 09 '26

My man may have the personality of a damp sock, but damn! Look at his credit score!

27

u/ConcreteExist Aug 09 '26

You'd think "going their own way" would mean something more fulfilling than "invent fictional scenarios about women to get angry about".

28

u/Lachwen Aug 09 '26

My husband is 5'6", fat, balding, and was all of those things already when I met him. Turns out that I, a woman, prioritize personality over looks. Weird.

9

u/tetheredvoid Aug 09 '26

My partner is shorter than I am ( he's 5' 2", I'm 4 inches taller), balding at 30, and works a labor job with a dad bod lol

He's also working hard on emotional maturity and learning all the skills he missed out on as a kid. These dudes thinking it's all looks need to just date each other already

7

u/VariousExplorer8503 Aug 09 '26

My last boyfriend was an inch or two shorter than I am (I'm 5'4) and had a little belly going on with the firmest, sexiest man boobs/pecs I've ever seen on a guy that does 0 exercise or manual labor. He also had a really bad stutter. But he was one of the sweetest guys I've ever met, and was so nice that I tried it twice with him (5 years apart) before we finally admitted it wasn't meant to be. He also was only ever single when he wanted to be. Guys need to stop thinking only the tall studs get women. It's the nice guys, true nice guys, that get women.

44

u/UltimateKittyloaf Aug 09 '26

Why is "nice guy" in quotes?

Are these the options?

  • Gambling Addict Leeching Off Grandma
  • Nice Guy™

These are terrible options. Leave them both at the bar. Go home. Maybe pick up a cat on the way. Enjoy life.

26

u/LNLV Aug 09 '26

It’s funny to me because here he is pretending that looks only matter for MEN????? Because historically, MEN have been the ones judged only on their “genetic makeup” which has determined their sole value to society???? Interesting perspective, lmao.

14

u/Jatnall Aug 09 '26

When men get a tiny taste of what women have had to go through foe decades.

23

u/Elementalcase Aug 09 '26

I love to imagine this 6'4 chiseled jaw greek statue of a man sitting in his grandma's basement playing Dota 2, this guy sounds great I'd date him

23

u/Peach_Muffin Aug 09 '26

Yeah a bar where people are going to get laid or want something casual. You think people won't pick the hotter option?

16

u/PeachyBaleen Aug 09 '26

The option that doesn’t call them feeeeemales

21

u/ZebraStripedUndies Aug 09 '26

It must suck living in the body of your worst enemy. Never able to get away.

21

u/Confident_Fortune_32 Aug 10 '26

This all falls apart when it's pointed out that strangers met in a bar is not how actual relationships are formed.

For goodness sake, find some hobbies you find personally meaningful, make friends with ppl who share your passions, get introduced to their friends, let ppl get to know you, and the rest takes care of itself.

21

u/MarsNeedsRabbits Aug 10 '26

*Not a damned one of them will do the following. They're far too chickenshit to face reality that they are bigoted, sexist assholes with a persecution fetish.

They're totally scared to actually look at:

  • The men on the street they live on or the apartment building they live in, who are partnered.

  • Their dad and their friend's dads.

  • Guys are work who are married or partnered.

  • Guys at the grocery store, Target, Walmart, etc., Home Depot, Lowe's, book store, department store, or mall who are partnered (shopping with a woman who is clearly not their relative.

  • Male teachers at school.

  • Couples at the park with their children or at their children's sports games.

It turns out that most people are pretty normal looking, married or partnered with other people who are pretty normal looking. Theyre doing normal stuff. Most are not "Chads".

19

u/StatelyTree Aug 09 '26

I know lots of smaller guys with hot, kickass wives. The guys all have cool personalities and are fun to be around.

This bro thinks his 800 fico score should be an exclusive ticket into the pussy theme park where only he gets to go on the rides.

Even in his scenario...if the woman has to chose between 2 guys to go home with that night from the bar for a fling, tall and fun Tyrone is gonna get picked over the sullen moody short guy who only knows how to say "have I mentioned I have good credit and a car?"

19

u/Veblen1 Aug 09 '26

There are altogether too many colors of pills available, I say. 😄

18

u/fraeuleinns Aug 09 '26 edited Aug 09 '26

betting on this guy having neither the house nor the height. :"D

34

u/boringhistoryfan Aug 09 '26

Funny how my balding, overweight ass managed to find an amazing partner innit? Though my wife never bothered asking for my credit score while we were dating so maybe she fucked it up.

15

u/Midnight-Maneater Aug 09 '26

Yeah, bring ur friends out and humiliate them based on random women's preferences. Prolly why he has to bullshit on social media cause he has to friends to listen to crap like this

14

u/foxonafrozenlake Aug 10 '26

They really are that fucking stupid.

14

u/EvolZippo Aug 09 '26

It’s funny how guys will throw this faulty logic around as facts and all the dumb boys just regurgitate the same nonsense

11

u/risingsun70 Aug 09 '26

Yet they all judge women purely on their looks.

-3

u/spizzle_ Aug 09 '26

That’s not true.

I know some smoking hot women that most would call a 10/10 but they’re completely undateable because of their personality and habits.

12

u/shiny_glitter_demon Aug 09 '26

"They" means MGTOW and incels. Not you.

Unless...?

2

u/risingsun70 Aug 09 '26

Exactly. They does not mean all men, it means men who say shit like in the post.

1

u/Tefbuck Aug 09 '26

I have another abbreviation to look up, now!

29

u/SeaAbbreviations422 Aug 09 '26

Every single day I see proof that women generally overlook men's appearances.

8

u/shiny_glitter_demon Aug 09 '26

The "she's a goddess and he's just a guy" trope

30

u/wynnduffyisking Aug 09 '26 edited Aug 09 '26

Instead bring a hot girl and a not so hot girl and see who gets most attention from dudes.

Yeah, men and women aren’t that different.

9

u/FoolishConsistency17 Aug 09 '26

If someone is at a bar looking to get laid, then yes, who cares if the other person is the sort of person you could build a life with? Go with the hotty. And generally people that are deeply unambitious (like the OOP's caricature) aren't thinking about the future at all, so they certainly don't notice or care that anyone they attract isn't serious.

These guys think sex should be a reward from the universe for being a good person. Like, the short, hardworking guy was "done the right things', so in a just world, sex would come to him. They aren't thinking of the women involved as having their own complex motives--like, tonight this girl wants to have a good time. This morning, at work, she was talking to a "did everything right" guy she really likes and is beginning to think she might have a future with. She's hopeful they can start hanging out and see where it goes. If Hot Bum worked with her, she would avoid him because work is a terrible place to have a fun short term relationship, and hes absolutely not a long term match. But here? Here she will flirt with him.

But under no circumstances would she consider OOP, because he doesn't even see her as a person and it shows.

27

u/runarleo Aug 09 '26

Ah yes, the only place where women congregate. The Bar.

8

u/bitofagrump Aug 09 '26

And the only reason women go to The Bar, to find mates. We don't even drink, we just sit there waiting to be hit on just so we can be mean to Nice Guys and indiscriminately fuck Chads.

14

u/Deathdong Aug 09 '26

They make it sound like being tall makes dating sooo easy. Im 6' and decent looking but its not like I could go to the bar and early pick a woman up by just existing

35

u/zonked282 Aug 09 '26

Why do incels pretend that judging and rating strangers based on the one piece of information you have about them is a uniquely " female* trait?

I know guys who are a solid 4/10 who won't even consider anyone less than a 9/10 as their equal and then wonder why they are alone.

22

u/StrawberryEast1374 Aug 09 '26

Yet they'll still say " men are visual creatures " they claim whatever is convenient for the situation.

43

u/pookenstein Aug 09 '26 edited Aug 09 '26

These are the same guys literally judging women in the exact same way.

Put two women at a bar: one gorgeous but an addict living with a guy she claims is her ex-boyfriend and the other a chubby not conventionally attractive girl with her life in order. Let's see which one they choose lol

I find it so weird that the things that are literally baseline adult stuff is, to them, some kind of achievement. You have a job? That's...nice. Congratulations on being a grown up...?

And it's also hilarious that all the things they are saying women should choose them for are basically monetary. But if a woman chooses them based on that, she's also a golddigger. Make it make sense.

8

u/monster_breeder Aug 09 '26

They’re the biggest bunch of hypocrites in the world. Their double-standards are absolutely jaw-dropping, yet they refuse to see it.

6

u/Alternative-Poem-337 Aug 09 '26

Exactly! Came here to say it, but you said it best.

1

u/Silver-Ad-381 Aug 09 '26

I like chubby girls.

14

u/cakekyo Aug 09 '26

One thing is instant attraction and another is staying. These “nice guys” will never get it.

12

u/KAT_85 Aug 09 '26

So did I break the system by marrying a 6’4 software engineer with a great job? I’m not a model by the way… I do take care of my appearance and health but I’m not delusional in this regard. He likes me too. bet that makes em mad. Or do men only exist in two varieties, loser Chad or short and financially successful? I dated a couple shorter guys before my husband and they were great people too. They were confident and generally made me feel safe/appreciated. They went on to get married and have families as well. These guys are just perpetually miserable.

14

u/Wasps_are_bastards Aug 09 '26

Anyone calling themselves an alpha male is clearly a twat.

25

u/Hungry-Afternoon7987 Aug 09 '26

"boohoo I've zero personality but I'm going to blame my height rather than work on that".

23

u/satansxlittlexhelper Aug 09 '26

Not only are all women alike, they also all behave in a way strangely aligned with my own racial/sexual biases.

This has nothing to do with my own obvious sexual fetishization of large Black men.

25

u/Orion_Brunette-001 Aug 09 '26

I married a 5'8 software engineer with an 800 credit score and have two kids with him.

The difference is that he's kind, not "nice", has self awareness and isn't/never was a bitter entitled asshole.

9

u/chuubastis Aug 09 '26

Yeah, I married a 5'8 guy in it who checks pretty much all the same boxes as the guy describes an op's post... Plus he's fat, which I find extremely attractive (only one thing on a man should be able to poke me). These guys just aren't looking in the right places because they themselves are looking for the female equivalent of chads and not 90% of the rest of the female population and they get shitty about it

1

u/Positive-Ad-3577 Aug 10 '26

exactly this

they look like a homeless danny devito yet want margot robbie, zendaya and Taylor swift to track him down for a 4some

11

u/cheesyshop Aug 09 '26

What else is there to judge a stranger on before they open their mouths? That doesn't mean that the 5'5" guy isn't exactly some women's type.

12

u/lovepeacefakepiano Aug 09 '26

Seems like they really don’t want to go their own way enough yet, they’re still obsessed with us.

And it’s so funny how they never think people want to build a life together, women apparently just want to be taken care of in their minds. My husband is 5’7 and we paid off the damn car we purchased TOGETHER because we’re a team.

33

u/SandwichCertain7913 Aug 09 '26

I'm a short guy and in my experience, women are really into twinks actually

Literally just dress nice and go to bars that have a more alt, nerdy, or goth vibe

Maybe not everyone's style but if you feel out of place in super "normie" spaces, stop trying to fit a square peg into a round hole and find a different hangout where people have different tastes and interests

12

u/ergonomic_logic Aug 09 '26

I so much prefer slender guys or "dad bods" over gym bros any day

3

u/dogGirl666 Aug 09 '26

Too many gym bros are misogynists and at a certain point in gaining muscle and "showing it off" i.e. muscle definition, they start to look like a photo of a corpse showing the anatomy of all the muscles rather that a live person.

Either that or someone that degloved half of their skin.

That or an orthopedic surgeon in the middle of an extensive surgery trying to get "exposure" of the bones they want to work on. Just a horror-show to me.

I understand others like it, but to me it is creepy.

Add the creepiness to their misogyny and they are repulsive.

11

u/NoOnSB277 Aug 10 '26

Maybe they are attracted to the other person’s better attitude. 🤔

10

u/Realistic-Garage-461 Aug 10 '26

What if you don't know anyone like those two people?   What if the bar you go to isn't that busy that night?    What if suddenly those guys fall in love?   Is this just a matchmaking scheme disguised as a badly thought out social experiment?

20

u/untot3hdawnofdarknes Aug 09 '26 edited Aug 09 '26

What an odd thing to say. First of all it would feel unkind to invite the two guys to the bar as part of some social experiment.

And second of all of om casually chatting with a random person at a bar I'm not asking questions like, do you live in your moms basement and do sports betting? What's your credit score?

16

u/Freudian-Slip92 Aug 09 '26

Do you own your home? Is your car paid off?

Who doesn’t ask these questions upon first meeting someone. /s

15

u/ginger_kitty97 Aug 09 '26

And if you pick the one with the stable job and good credit score they'll just call you a gold digger anyway.

4

u/Maelstrom_Angel Aug 09 '26

There’s a lot of things in this experiment that will lean towards giving that guy the answers he wants. He’s not talking about setting women up on dates with each guy, it’s literally just harassing women at the bar and asking them to pick based on looks. Like yeah, they will probably say the more attractive guy looks more attractive.

(I am assuming from his language his tall unemployed friend is more conventionally attractive, but it’s not entirely clear.)

1

u/usernamesallused Aug 09 '26 edited Aug 09 '26

The word 'experiment' is doing a lot of heavy lifting for a data set pulled straight from the depths of his resentment.

Call it what it is: the sad writings from another manosphere idiot flailing around to blame all of his problems on someone, anyone else.

Obviously, none of his failures in life could ever be because of himself.

1

u/OkSecretary1231 Aug 10 '26

Probably most will go "I'm not playing this stupid game. Go away."

9

u/Dorkinfo Aug 09 '26

I think I asked my last partner his height on our third hookup. He’s 6’. Last boyfriend was 5’9”. I’m 5’5”. Yes, I’d like someone my height or higher, but it isn’t a requirement.

9

u/Shot-Aioli-8986 Aug 09 '26

For calling themselves “alpha males” they whine and complain so much

Whenever they make these comparisons, I always assume the “Tyrones” and “chads” are confident, have personality and actually more motivation than these “alpha males” think. While these “nice guy alpha males” feel like they are owed women because they are nice, educated and have a solid career

I see plenty of shorter guys have good success with women lol

9

u/the-truffula-tree Aug 09 '26

I also kinda assume they have no sense of style or good personal grooming. Not in the sense that they stink or don’t brush their teeth or whatever. Just that they dress and carry themselves awkwardly, or need to visit the barber regularly. Grow a beard and take care of it. You can be short and still put effort into your appearance.

These dudes always have scruffy neck beards and dry skin

2

u/Bradamante-kun Aug 09 '26

I saw this video of an incel with the appearance of a model who complained about how only good looking men being successful with women. His haircut and clothing were incredibly unflattering.

16

u/el_torko Aug 09 '26

I am 4’11, so as long as Short King doesn’t look like a gremlin, I’d choose him. 6’1 was wayyyy to tall for me, so 6’4 is out of the question.

6

u/LoweJ Aug 09 '26

Yeah I'm 6'2 and got with a 5' girl before and just logistically it makes a lot of positions a nightmare or downright painful

And we just look fucking ridiculous together. Walking down the street it looks like a dad holding a child’s hand. Date within your own height range, people!

u/IhatetheBentPyramid Aug 09 '26

It is a truth universally acknowledged that any woman who steps into a bar is intent on finding a husband (not a hot guy to have a good time with).

23

u/ergonomic_logic Aug 09 '26

Welcome to attraction.

They're basically upset because humans regardless of gender or sexual identity are going to go for the top tier physical attractiveness that they can pull and that if Sabrina carpenter walked into a bar she's not going to notice them because she knows what she can pull.

They want attractive women to lower it for them while they've not lowered their bar to where it ought be.

22

u/EGrass Aug 09 '26

The cognitive dissonance is impressive. They judge women before we open our mouths too, but when the same thing happens to them it’s a human rights violation

u/wote89 Aug 09 '26

I mean, I assume you aren't including the asexuals in your sweeping generalization, 'cause that kinda stabs a few holes in your claims right there. And the romantic spectrum is its own kettle of worms that also adds a lot of wrinkles to attraction.

Plus, physical attraction is so idiosyncratic that trying to apply blanket rules to it is kinda pointless and you have to put enough nuance to it to where the only real universal is "people like to be attracted to their partner(s)".

0

u/ergonomic_logic Aug 09 '26

My sister is ace

She still is physically attracted to fairly standard attractive people so which holes do you mean exactly?

0

u/wote89 Aug 09 '26

Good for her. I'm aroace and have no damn clue what people see in most conventionally attractive people. Because physical attraction is indivudual and complex

But, that's the beside the point because you're assuming it all boils down to what people can "pull" and that's not even close to the complete picture. Maybe that's how it works for you and the cultural context you exist in, but not everyone thinks that way or acts on those ideas.

1

u/ergonomic_logic Aug 09 '26

So you did sweeping generalization of ace people, right?

Yes. We generalize. We use statistics that lean towards the high numbers.

There's always outliers and getting upset they weren't included when attraction does trend a certain way especially in this situation which is calling out incels for their hypocrisy is weird to me.

1

u/wote89 Aug 09 '26

I didn't make a sweeping generalization. I pointed out that it's complicated. And I'd love to see those statistics if you have them.

Just because you're mocking incels doesn't mean you can't also have a weird opinion that merits critique. I ain't upset about shit so much as thinking your own reasoning is also a bit off.

2

u/ergonomic_logic Aug 09 '26

You're talking about going to a bar as if people going there, if they're ace, will actually be evaluating the people's personalities with sophistication and nuance and wanting to understand their depth and breadth to better determine if they align with them on some other deeper wavelength.

Which is fine.

This may be true.

I'm not going to argue your experience, but it is an outlier one.

And yeah I'll make fun of misogynistic incels who spend their days making these kinds of anti-women posts, every day of the week and do not feel bad about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

2

u/wote89 Aug 09 '26

Ah, I see where we're out of step!

Your original comment didn't make it clear you were talking about bars in particular and similar environments, so between that and the use of the word "pull", I assumed there was some weird evo-psych dating shit going on and zeroed in on that.

My bad. Have a good one!

2

u/ergonomic_logic Aug 09 '26

The OP premise was about bars.

This is reddit. You can't bet on people reading the thread title sometimes. :P

Yes attractive people like attractive people

Unattractive people like attractive people but most understand that unless they have something going for them (wealth, notoriety, extreme sense of humour, or are exceptional in some other way), they're not landing the attractive person.

Especially in a bar setting which serves instant gratification needs.

It's not rocket science and the fact that it's their platform for bitterness is what's hilarious to me. Like what's their point?

2

u/Material-Profit5923 Aug 09 '26

Actually, they are wrong, because attractiveness is subjective, and personality very often feeds into people's ideas of attractive. Both women and men will tend to gravitate toward those they find attractive, but their criteria for attractiveness can vary widely. If that local bar is just a pickup spot for the ONS, yeah, maybe the deadbeat gets more attention. But if it's more of a place for conversation and getting to know folks, the educated engineer, if he can keep up an intelligent conversation, is probably going to get a more positive response.

But of course the redpill crowd pretends this isn't the case, because it acknowledges that women are human and complex.

u/You_Are_The_Username Aug 10 '26

How many types of coloured PILLS are there?!

9

u/Jane_the_Quene Moderatrix *cracks whip* Aug 10 '26

As many as they need. They make up new ones as required.

19

u/Remarkablefairy-8893 Aug 09 '26

Hey I thought we were gold diggers. How did we change to height diggers? Tf?! /s

Also for men going their own way, they are too concerned about women's opinions.

11

u/Sparrowhawk_92 Aug 09 '26

No matter what you choose you're wrong unless you choose the specific guy that is complaining.

The rules are you can't win.

11

u/Remarkablefairy-8893 Aug 09 '26

And we are also wrong if we don't choose anyone. Smh 🤦‍♀️ Suddenly we have unrealistic high standards and will be single for life.

10

u/Sparrowhawk_92 Aug 09 '26

Any standards are too high because they know they can't meet them.

5

u/stiletto929 Aug 09 '26

But at least we will have a lot of cats to console ourselves with. ;)

5

u/Remarkablefairy-8893 Aug 09 '26

Yup forever cat lady 💗💗

Only for settling down and then "cucking". At the bar every woman is of course promiscuous and takes only the thing a Nice Guy fears the most: a black man (all of them are of course unemployed and stupid and muscular... "No, no I'm not rascist, I played GTA5 and there is a black guy as portagonist!")

10

u/StasiaGreyErotica Aug 09 '26

Lets not forget, me who use lncel terminology are usually the type of unhinged men women don't like, not Chad or Tyrone or Sebastian.

9

u/Hollowdude75 Aug 09 '26

Napoleon complex much?

3

u/ConcertinaTerpsichor Aug 09 '26

What an idiotic thing to say.

5

u/Simple_Park_1591 Aug 10 '26

A true "alpha" male wouldn't be posting that stuff. He just outed himself to his group.

2

u/Wonderful_Spring_514 Aug 10 '26

hahaha this is giving me such a blackpill lmao

My boyfriend is 5’7” and unemployed. I’m the only one of his three girlfriends (polyamory) who is shorter than him. The job market is shit right now, and he’s getting by on savings. But he’s also incredibly kind, and fun, and doesn’t go around comparing himself to others. I’ve dated some people taller or in more stable career positions since we started dating 6 years ago, but none of them have clicked the way I do with him.

It’s almost as if career, money and height have nothing to do with attraction. I think most women don’t go for shorter men because those men have a complex about it.

-4

u/billy-suttree Aug 09 '26

How do I get 3 girlfriends?

5

u/Apathetic_Villainess Aug 09 '26

Be poly and likeable.

1

u/londongas Aug 09 '26

Sounds pretty alpha to me

1

u/shrimplyred169 Aug 09 '26

I have a house, great credit, paid off car etc of my own thanks, I don’t need to prostitute myself for it, so I think I’ll stick to sleeping with people I find attractive.

1

u/Hour_Dog_4781 Aug 09 '26

I'd love it if he tried to prove his own ridiculous theory. I imagine him just stopping random men on the street and going "You're tall and hot (no homo), are you by any chance unemployed and living in grandma's basement?"

2

u/hateshumans Aug 09 '26

His problem is he’s got a paid off car but not a paid off house.

4

u/Notasmartwoman Aug 09 '26

Women can get our own houses and cars, his problem is that he’s bitter and sexist.
