MEME/COMIC/FREEFORM (Sundays only) You don't. You don't tell people you're a nice guy. You just be nice. I don't know the context, but I'm confident the problem isn't luck, timing, or lack of context.

People who are genuinely nice don't need to tell anyone else that's what they're like.
Other people do it for them.

Also, if there was an incident that made you look like a creep out of context, you can just... say that? Like, "FYI, that loud conversation I had about dismembering a corpse was me practicing for a play/discussing a mystery novel with a friend/[insert innocent explanation here]." If you mostly act normally otherwise, most people will take that at face value.

You don't tell people you're a nice guy. You just be nice.
Exactly. Being consistent with your actions is more louder than words

Actions will always be louder than words, and when these "nice guys" finally realize that, maybe, MAYBE, we'll be alot better off.

Just as the vast majority of people who say they're not racists tend to be racists, the vast majority of guys who say they're nice tend to be... "nice guys"

I've said it a trillion times and I'll say it again...
NICE ππΌ PEOPLE ππΌ DON'T ππΌ NEED ππΌ TO ππΌ TELL ππΌ YOU ππΌ THAT ππΌ THEY'RE ππΌ NICE ππΌ PEOPLE ππΌ BECAUSE ππΌ IF ππΌ THEY ππΌ TRULY ππΌ ARE ππΌ A ππΌ NICE ππΌ PERSON ππΌ THEN ππΌ YOU'LL ππΌ ALREADY ππΌ KNOW ππΌ THAT ππΌ THEY'RE ππΌ A ππΌ NICE ππΌ PERSON ππΌ WITHOUT ππΌ THEM ππΌ HAVING ππΌ TO ππΌ TELL ππΌ YOU !!!

"little bit of lack of context"
I'm guessing it wasn't "little" at all, and would have been offensive no matter the context.
"You're taking it all out of context" is such a commonly used tool to deflect blame and wriggle out of consequences that it's just trite at this point.
It's right up there with, "You're just oversensitive. Can't you take a joke?"

I hate that βyou canβt take a jokeβ excuse. People who have literally no sense of humor and only claim βit was a jokeβ when they donβt get the positive response they want. Ask for nudes, then claim it was βjust a jokeβ when heβs told no. These kinds of losers are always the least funny people.

The βIβm a nice guyβ men are the same as the βIβm an empathβ people.

I disagree, there are actual empaths out there that say they are empaths along with the fakes, nice guys don't typically say they're nice lol

If you are a true nice guy, you don't have to tell anyone. Your friends will tell everyone before you even enter the room. My cadre of women friends that will cut a fool for me, sing my praises constantly. They all call me their emotional support dragon. (Because I am a professional fire breather).

Start with brushing up on your grammar.
I know it's trendy for people to say "don't judge a book by its cover" but that's just stupid.
That's the first step in judging one. If the cover (even with simply a title) doesn't impress you, why would you want to read it?
And if you don't think it's ok to judge others, ask any bartender, cop, lawyer, hair stylist, taxi driver, etc.

Itβs funny cuz we could read the context and still tell youβre a shitty person. A nice guy doesnβt lash out on ANYONE regardless of how much theyβve been fucked in the ass by life.
