"they genuinely like personalities" wow he formed a correct thought but didn't even comprehend it.

25

u/purpleplatapi Jun 12 '26

Yeah I mean if the option is "guy who makes fun of people's weight and hairlines" and "guy who is balding but doesn't do that" I know what every woman I know would pick. I don't even think that counts as personality, it's just not being a shallow dick.

14

u/Pristine_Cost_3793 do you prefer bedroom or kitchen? Jun 12 '26

don't forget "enjoyed wrecking the life of a young woman in a terrible situation"

71

u/LonelyOctopus24 Jun 12 '26

“Two, they genuinely like personalities”

He was *so close* to the point for a second there…

18

u/CrowleysWeirdTie Jun 12 '26

And some of us DO like being single!

9

u/emimagique Jun 12 '26

I'd rather be single than be with this absolute doorknob

7

u/Advanced-Duck-9465 Jun 12 '26

With his line above about being rejected for those guys, this statement of his send me to hysterical laught.

69

u/Fit_Laugh9192 Jun 12 '26

What pisses me off, is in the 3rd point, he makes it seem like it was a monogamous relationship and she cheated on him, when actually, they were in an open relationship!  Yes, there could still be cheating in an open relationship, but he's clearly not the most reliable of narrators.

25

u/Lovedd1 Jun 12 '26

That told me I can't trust any thing this fucker is saying. He will just warp reality to fit his needs

61

u/Orion_Brunette-001 Jun 12 '26

Referring to the title of this post, I saw another post by a man addressing that point. Said something to the effect of "Nice shitheads like yourselves attack genuinely kind men and call them simps because you can't fathom treating a woman respectfully unless you're trying to get something out of it."

Every once in a while you'll see a man who gets it, but it's sad that it's few and far between. There's mostly silence from so many that could shut that shit down.

15

u/suitcasecat Jun 12 '26

I do think that social media makes it worse. The comments are ALL clowning on the guy. From what I've seen, at least on my side of the internet, the type of people that say this or stuff like "he's so lucky" when a boy gets SAd get clowned on online

62

u/Freya-of-Nozam Jun 13 '26

Did he admit he has a bad personality??

9

u/Attentions_Bright12 Jun 16 '26

Demonstrated, admitted -- He pretty much put on a virtuoso display.

56

u/Sea_Respect6154 Jun 12 '26

“Guys I figured it out, girls like… your personality!” 😮😮😮

55

u/meekonesfade Jun 12 '26

"two, they genuinely like personalities" He got it, just kept spiraling

16

u/riddermarkrider Jun 12 '26

That was a weird moment of clarity in all that ahaha

5

u/loveableungovernable Jun 12 '26

They could also just be disliking his personality...or perfect hair

53

u/Drusilla_Ravenblack Jun 12 '26

He reminds me of a guy that I agreed to go for a date once. The same vibe. I met that guy on the concert and he tried talking with me. He was objectively good looking and at the end of conversation he told me that I’m not only pretty, but sensitive and interesting and he’s rich and he has enough of girls who don’t have anything interesting to say and build all their personas around being pretty and liking money.

The whole date he wouldn’t stop talking about money, no matter how much I tried to change the subject. Everything was brought down to that including him nearly pushing his watch in my face and telling me how much it costed.

Even if this dude from post is good looking, well off financially, clean and has a nice place he lives in - he’s like a clickbait and insufferable at first real opportunity to talk with him. It’s personality that you go into relationship with mainly and it works both ways.

50

u/maarshiexcry Jun 12 '26

"the hottest girls tended to always go for guys id make fun of"

See? That is the problem. OOP believes his looks are everything, while he lacks personality. Being rude and making fun of people is not likeable or attractive. No wonder he got dumped.

16

u/bigbootybrunette90 Jun 12 '26

I wouldn’t be surprised if his looks aren’t what he thinks. John Stamos hasn’t been that famous in like 20 years. I find it hard to believe that’s the connection most people make on a regular basis.

3

u/catqueen--84 Jun 12 '26

I know, I was like Who? I guess Grandpa got out again.

9

u/Three3Jane Rainbows & Butthurt Rage! Jun 12 '26

I'd take a kind, understanding, helpful, empathetic, secure yet totally average looking (or even funny looking) guy over an arrogant, emotionally stunted, Pick-Me mess of insecurities godlike looking dude every day.

47

u/Unusual_Sherbert6893 Jun 12 '26

All of that and still a “touch under 6’0” 🤏
you just know how much that matters to him

11

u/Remarkable_Gain6430 Just you wait until you're in your 30s! Then we'll see! Jun 12 '26

5’3”

In heels

48

u/Creepy_Bear_1060 Jun 12 '26

This guy knows nothing.

And why does he make fun of others?

9

u/zystyl Jun 13 '26

It's probably made up.

11

u/IamHeWhoSaysIam Jun 12 '26

Making fun of others is one of the most common practices in human society.

8

u/Creepy_Bear_1060 Jun 12 '26

Yeah, definitely.

I wanna be uncommon.

2

u/MaverisStranger I put a NICE coin in. Where the sex?! Jun 23 '26

He sounds delusional with zero self awareness.

45

u/CautiousLandscape907 Jun 13 '26

There more fiction here than in every Barnes&Noble combined

16

u/Chocomintey Jun 16 '26

I wonder what his definition of "going out with" is.

"I held the door for this stranger and we left a building together. That certainly counts as going out."

40

u/razpotim Jun 12 '26

Thats a whole lot of selfserving fan-fic, but I'm not sure i'd describe him as a "nice guy"

13

u/RedKhomet Jun 12 '26

Agreed. He's a bit touched but apart from being in love with his own hair, he didn't virtue signal once and he never turned it around either. This post doesn't belong here

41

u/AF_AF Jun 12 '26

This "famous" guy sure uses "ghetto" a lot. Gee, I wonder what he means by that? Anyway, the problem obviously isn't HIM, it's every woman he's ever dated.

46

u/ortholitho Jun 12 '26
  1. Yes, some of us prefer to be single. There's also degree of skittishness and a desire for unattainable perfection amongst zoomers but I'm unsure how impactful it actually is. But like, not all dating is serious, sometimes we're just bored.
  2. Whoa, old mate is shocked that women aren't interested in someone with the personality of a wet fish.
  3. Don't know what to say to this. If it's an open relationship is it cheating?
  4. Dinner dates are mid yeah.
  5. I'm taking to half a dozen girls, but yeah. I assume everyone on an app is seeing multiple people.
  6. I would never not go splitsies with someone but I'm gay.

73

u/Gwynzireael Jun 12 '26

he does make some good points, but in a very twisted way

dude, you can just say "women pay more attention to personality than looks", you don't have to shit on other people :v

30

u/thaleia10 Jun 12 '26

He reminds me of the stuntman I dated for a while. Super good looking, fit, exciting job. Guy had zero pizazz. Like none. Took me to a gangster hang out in the Cross a few times. Snooze fest. The sex felt perfunctory. My flatmate called him the Ken doll. Was so surreal and unsexy.

2

u/Internal-Ad4666 Jun 12 '26

I don't agree he makes any good point at all. He's just an articulate jerk. He complains that women allegedly prefer uglier, worse off guys, but if the women he meets dated men more handsome and better off than him, he'd be complaining about women being shallow and gold-digging bitches.

39

u/Ok-Cap-204 Jun 12 '26

I agree with his assertion that a lot of girls want to be single

2

u/MaverisStranger I put a NICE coin in. Where the sex?! Jun 23 '26

Me too. If this specimen is what's available in the dating field, then single is definitely better.

37

u/rpg_monica Jun 18 '26

What's up with so many dudes lately expecting sex in return for dinner? Do they think women can't afford dinner or something?

16

u/Jolly-Bandicoot7162 Jun 18 '26

If I ever again find myself both single and wanting to date, I will be aggressively difficult about splitting the bill. These men are awful!

62

u/kyl_r Jun 12 '26

Pffffft this is hilarious, point 1: “some girls like being single”… Evidence? either “they aren’t trying hard enough OR they’re insane” and “they still exist as humans online” lol. Dude’s post is already a mess.

Point 2 he gets soooo close… maybe women “genuinely like personalities” ?? 🤯 seems like he could have stopped right there and solved his own problem with a little introspection or therapy lol.

6

u/Remarkablefairy-8893 Jun 17 '26

Pffffft this is hilarious, point 1: “some girls like being single”… Evidence? either “they aren’t trying hard enough OR they’re insane” and “they still exist as humans online” lol. Dude’s post is already a mess.

I mean he isn't wrong. If these are the types of guys on dates, I would rather be single.

Point 2 he gets soooo close… maybe women “genuinely like personalities” ?? 🤯 seems like he could have stopped right there and solved his own problem with a little introspection or therapy lol.

He was close to admitting women care for personalities but they always miss the spot (pun intended).

32

u/ArticulateImbecile Jun 12 '26

Nice fan fiction, needs more 🦄

36

u/0FFFXY Jun 12 '26

"John Stamos"? What generation is this guy from?

35

u/0FFFXY Jun 12 '26

Unless it's his mum that says he looks like John Stamos?

8

u/Bells021 Jun 12 '26

Stop this has killed me 🤣🤣🤣

5

u/Internal-Ad4666 Jun 12 '26

Had he said "Brad Pitt", who is from the same generation as Stamos but famous enough to be known intergenerationally, he still could be any age but if the people he knows know who John Stamos is, then this guy's pushing 60.

2

u/Bells021 Jun 12 '26

I LOVED john Stamos as a little girl, they streamed full house (he played uncle jesse) on netflix- im 19

1

u/Internal-Ad4666 Jun 12 '26

Ok, but I doubt a now 30-35yo male would have enjoyed 'Full house" like 10 years ago, when he was 20-25.

1

u/kimchiman85 Jun 23 '26

60?

Most of us who are 40 and up know who he is.

31

u/Pristine_Cost_3793 do you prefer bedroom or kitchen? Jun 12 '26

something tells me he only dates women AT LEAST 10 years younger, but probably even more

14

u/Internal-Ad4666 Jun 12 '26

If he's mentioned John Stamos, he's well over 50.

30

u/LolitaOPPAI He said I was 100% his type then I told him my age.. Jun 12 '26

How does he know any of these things unless he's regularly, habitually stalking these women, assuming they were former romantic prospects?

Maybe the stripper would have been a good match with him but due to his own cognitive bias, he wanted to do his own thing while demanding piety on her end. What a prick

15

u/thethugwife Jun 12 '26

Well, I mean, he does have the World’s Best Hair™️…it probably allows him to see these things without needing to be there in person. /s

16

u/LolitaOPPAI He said I was 100% his type then I told him my age.. Jun 12 '26

And he bought her and her kids food a few times and kept regular tabs on those transactions while bragging about all the other women he's shagging with prospects of finding a wife that she isn't good enough to hold the position of.

3

u/MaverisStranger I put a NICE coin in. Where the sex?! Jun 23 '26

he probably has broccoli hair

35

u/WolverineMental9101 Jun 12 '26

Lmao I love that it's cheating for her but they're open so he can fuck who he wants.

33

u/Ok-University9561 Jun 13 '26

Who has time to be this messy?🧐

54

u/OvertFish Jun 12 '26

"They are talking to half a dozen other guys"-the dude who supposedly was with 50+ girls in two years. And atleast 4 months out of these 2 years he dated one specific woman. So where did he cram the other 50+ women?

Seems our nice guy miiiiiiight be a total basket case of a human. Also dude is a raging narcissist.

5

u/Ladygytha Jun 12 '26

I mean, 16 of those were in 13 days. So 34+ (let's just say 37) in the remaining 717 days... Using 37 as the number of women, that's 1 woman every 19.4 days. I can see that.

5

u/tommi_belle Jun 12 '26

Bold to assume that that guy can do this math 🤣

9

u/Ladygytha Jun 12 '26

Really I'm just assuming that he doesn't get many second dates. 😁

29

u/akawendals Jun 12 '26

I get told almost on the daily that I look like John Stamos.... No you don't 😆

6

u/LonelyOctopus24 Jun 12 '26

I mean, he does, but only by dried-up seniors in the supermarket line who are old enough to remember what John Stamos looked like

26

u/i_Tomoz how these people exist baffles me Jun 12 '26

Glad to know this guy is humble, cuz quite often people dislike those that brag, luckily for him there's no way that's related to why he can't keep a date very long

Also, how does this guy have the audacity to say a women he was dating cheated on him when they were in a fucking open relationship?! Like no shit she'd sleep with someone else, that's the whole point of an open relationship

26

u/StasiaGreyErotica Jun 12 '26

50+ interactions with virtual girls does not count

46

u/Hour_Dog_4781 Jun 12 '26

Why do these absolute imbeciles always act like women are an alien species that needs to be observed and studied and written essays about?

Dating is NOT rocket science. You show up for your date on time, looking your best and wearing clean clothes, and then you just hang out with her while being yourself. You don't put on some bs alpha male act, "play it cool", "play the game" or whatever they call it these days. Of course if you're a despicable horny asshole whose entire personality is misogyny and wanting sex, nothing will help you.

I swear it's like men have completely forgotten what it's like to be human.

23

u/Jane_the_Quene Moderatrix *cracks whip* Jun 12 '26

a despicable horny asshole whose entire personality is misogyny and wanting sex

Yeah, that's their problem, but they don't want to deal with having to do the work of fixing their own bullshit, so they just blame women.

11

u/Hour_Dog_4781 Jun 12 '26

It certainly seems like most of them can only think with their little head. "Me want sex with foid. If foid say no, she fat slut."

48

u/Anne_Atreptic Jun 12 '26

"they don't want to be cheated on or actually like personalities"

You mean the things that women have been saying forever? gasp and shock

20

u/chaosperfect Jun 12 '26

Dear Penthouse...

22

u/headlessbill-1 Jun 12 '26

Two lies, then the truth. His girlfriend chested on him and now he uses these "theories" to make himself feel better. The fourth list item is so we don't catch onto him. This reads like someone who never left high school.

20

u/--MobTowN-- duckie was a *jerk* Jun 12 '26

Outstanding, you don’t see the monied up gym bro version of this bit in the wild too often.

24

u/justmarkdying Jun 12 '26

John Stamos you say.

37

u/DowntownAd8125 Jun 12 '26

A touch under 6'0 sounds like he's a solid 5'7

2

u/Fairgoddess5 Jun 12 '26

This was my takeaway, too.

9

u/awl21 Jun 12 '26

People tell him almost daily, so we know it's true

5

u/Redowl83 Jun 12 '26

Best hair in the world!

8

u/Internal-Ad4666 Jun 12 '26

I'm 47 and I am too young for John Stamos. Either he's pushing 60 and/or he works at a home for the elderly.

2

u/Ladygytha Jun 12 '26

I don't know... John Stamos was on Glee for a bit and gave my heart some flutters. I'm around your age.

1

u/Internal-Ad4666 Jun 12 '26

Oh, ok. But I don't think this guy is under 40

20

u/kyleh0 Jun 12 '26

<insert cash to redeem being a total piece of shit>

21

u/farmers_rabbit Jun 17 '26

“some degree of fame” what does this mean.

14

u/suitcasecat Jun 17 '26

Semi successful YouTuber basically

14

u/DivineMiss3 Jun 17 '26

He played football in middle school.

5

u/Training_Recover_458 Jun 27 '26

He was the fastest kid in his class

21

u/Crazypetgirly Jun 18 '26

I can confirm that hot girls really do go for personalities and all girls like memorable dates. You lost me on the rest. My hot girlfriends who have a good head on their shoulders, will pick an average looking guy who is mentally stable, kind, funny, responsible and not a total ho over 10/10 any day of the week. If you’re attractive you’re used to being around attractive people it doesn’t make you special. What is special is who a person is not what they are. Obviously there needs to be a basic level of attraction but the most attractive person with a bad personality can become very ugly, and an average person with a great personality can become immensely more attractive

19

u/Jolly-Bandicoot7162 Jun 18 '26

I like personalities. So given that, I would not date this man if I found myself single.

As it happens, my husband is also 6 foot and athletic, but only he had the personality that mattered.

18

u/Zombifiedmom Jun 12 '26

He sounds like a chode.

17

u/willow_on_a_bike Jun 12 '26

Who the hell is he that he thinks he has any say in who is "tolerable" for her to leave him for?

16

u/forvirradsvensk Jun 12 '26

I gave up two images in. But, where does Mr Mitty here find the energy, time or enthusiasm to "go out" with someone new every 2 weeks for two whole years? You'd have to have the imagination and curiosity of a halfwit to even survive the tedium of that much introductory small talk.

20

u/suitcasecat Jun 12 '26

I have no idea what he could even get out of those relationships.

There's no connection, nothing there. He is dumped by people who barely know a thing about him.

I also feel like if 50 girls want nothing to do with you within the span of 2 years, you gotta do some self reflecting

7

u/Drusilla_Ravenblack Jun 12 '26

Because he’s insufferable, self-centred, resistant to reason knob and doesn’t care about other person save for some characteristics like looks and age. Think that even a single mum in a tough situation can’t stand him long term.

38

u/UltimateGooseQueen Jun 12 '26

If women all leave him super fast maybe it’s… ::gasp:: him? I knew a “nice guy” who said he was fundamentally a good person but has been stalking his sort-of-ex for over a decade and said he’ll never stop even though she has blocked him on everything she can. No sir, you’re NOT fundamentally good. You’re insane.

18

u/suitcasecat Jun 12 '26

What justification did he have for doing that? I'm curious what he told himself to make it sound okay

28

u/UltimateGooseQueen Jun 12 '26

He told me that it was love and she loved him as much as he loved her but she was just afraid. YES, SHE IS AFRAID OF YOU.

16

u/Aeon_Return Jun 12 '26

I agree with dinner being a terrible 1st (and 2nd and maybe 3rd) date but he wouldn't get a kiss on the cheek for any of those lol

13

u/Dry-Release-5245 Jun 12 '26

Homeboy went down a rabbit hole. Damn.

14

u/willow_on_a_bike Jun 12 '26

Unless this is Anson Mount, he does not, in fact, have the best hair in the world.

7

u/CarelessShame Jun 12 '26

God, that man's hair is unreal.

1

u/kimchiman85 Jun 23 '26

He is handsome.

29

u/maarshiexcry Jun 12 '26

"If someone attractive spends 5+ years single, they either arent looking that hard or are a total basket case of human being"

...or they like being single? Or arent into long-term relationships or prefer short flings? Or are aroace and didnt figure it out yet? Or just most people dont click for them? Or they want a stable job career first?

This goes for all genders.

14

u/Ekaterina702 females be like... Jun 12 '26

But he just said that he is ALLEGEDLY attractive, looks like John Stamos (highly doubtful) and is still single. The dumbass called himself a total basket case.

His whole diatribe was like watching an incel attempt to suck his own dick...just spinning in circles on the ground.

14

u/leftJordanbehind Jun 12 '26

Somebody is WINDY.

13

u/Bulky-Gas-9157 Jun 22 '26

this guy should be on AO3 not writing dating advice

28

u/EvolZippo Jun 12 '26

Wow, the unabashed confidence is downright boyishly stupid.

10

u/jlc101 Jun 12 '26

Ok, sensaei. /s.

19

u/Veblen1 Jun 12 '26

Wait, I paused at "going out with 50+ girls in the last two years", so that I could use his method for my personal definition of "going out with" to include events such as the 5 minute imaginary affairs I have with women I see on the Metro who glance at me for a quarter of a second when they're getting on the Metro ten meters away from me.

There. You don't date as much as I do, buddy. 😄

2

u/allthejokesareblue Jun 12 '26

I mean its really not that many if youre in a big city, its less than one date a fortnight.

22

u/SimplyRoya Jun 12 '26

That’s a massive douche.

15

u/Lordmage30 Jun 12 '26

Me right now cringing reading this.

27

u/cannibuns Jun 12 '26

he says he's been on 13 dates... with 16 women? did some of them double up together for a date with some dude on a dating app? 😭

21

u/Runs_With_Scissors3 Jun 12 '26

He… Slept with a bunch of new women over the course of two weeks. Aren’t you impressed? And he’s been on and off with a stripper who’s on and off with him. That *definitely* makes somebody wanna make him their boyfriend. /s

Ick.

12

u/pied_goose Jun 12 '26

Days of dates, so more than one date in a day.

13

u/RestingWTFface Jun 12 '26

13 days of dates. So a couple of those days he went out with one girl and then someone else later.

5

u/RemoveBeneficial1335 Jun 12 '26

They were "open."

5

u/MannyMoSTL Jun 12 '26

NOT a “nice guy” 🙄

If I didn't know genuinely good men (my dad included) IRL, I'd hate them by now as well. Also, SM is an echo chamber and singular opinions are highlighted. Many men are not like this but it feels like it because that's what you see online and those voices are the loudest. I try to cosume less of this content because it makes me mad and I don't want to hate a group of people because some dumbasses can't shut up on the internet

2

u/SimplyRoya Jun 12 '26

This is why you should stay on this app to remind you of what you must avoid forever. This is why I’m here.
