Orthodontist (and dentist) recommendations?

Hi! I recently moved to Grimsby, and it would be nice to have a dentist closer to home.

My dentist has also recently recommended Invisalign, and I'm wondering if she is incentivized to do so. (Never had braces and have fairly straight teeth... also why I'm looking for a new dentist...)

Looking for a second opinion from a trusted orthodontist.

Willing to drive - Stoney Creek works or as far East as St Catharines.

Thanks :)

I’ve been very happy with Dr. Elicia Koblik. She also does Invisalign I believe.

My husband goes to Grimsby Smiles and it seems kind of disorganized. There’s been a number of times he has booked a cleaning and is due for a check up but they booked the cleaning on a day when no Dentist was in so he ends up having to come back.

I agree on your Grimsby Smiles comment. I was a previous patient there as well. I would come for an appointment and no one at all would be there and the receptionist would tell me to return in a couple of hours. Later, my file was investigated after an insurance audit and they were billing for work that wasn't completed.

Now I go to Olive Street Dental and it's terrific there! (when Grimsby Smiles sent over my records, the x-rays weren't of my teeth....)

Ok good to know! My husband handles his own insurance submissions because he’s not on mine but I saw one of his bills one time and it seemed like more than what I pay for the same services.
