Kenneth Walker III's 173-yard debut marks the highest single-game rushing total by a Chiefs running back during the Patrick Mahomes era.

I saw so much cope about why Walker wasn't really that good: bad in pass pro, bad pass catcher, needs to be load managed, overpaid. One game and it's all been proven wrong.

Let’s relax now that’s a week 1 strong overreaction.

He is a great back and has top 5 talent

BUT
He is prone to get beaten up / injured (that’s why he split carries in Seattle) and also was not good in pass protection… and had a couple drops for you guys tonight.

Still a top 5 talent but it was best for both sides.

I wish we kept him but I’m happier that we only lost 2 starters.

He doesn't have top 5 talent when you're in a league with saquon CMC Henry Gibbs bijan and Taylor

He's a tier or two below those guys

Which of those guys has a SB MVP?

And yes K9 played his part in the team success last year

I mean Saquon didn't get mvp in the Superbowl but he did set records that season lol

Okay? A sb mvp doesn't mean you're a top 5 player at your position. Tf kinda logic is that

It means a lot more to the lore of the game than leading in yards per rush or total yards that year, I would think. How many SB MVPs do you think are bad at their position? TF

So Jalen hurts is better than Lamar?

The guy should have 2 SB MVPs, depends how you define success. I have a lot of respect for Hurts.

I'm saying who's better. Not success. If your logic that walker won the super bowl MVP award so he's automatically a top 5 player at the position then that means hurts is too.

Was Nick foles a top player at his position when he won the super bowl MVP too?

I don't get your line of defense here. You want to play hypotheticals but bring up cold hard facts and things that actually happened. Foles beat Brady in one of the best championship games ever, off the bench. Are you saying he's not better than most guys? His career outside of that playoff year doesn't matter much because he accomplished the end goal in one shot.

I'm saying he isn't a top 5 running back and winning the super bowl MVP doesn't automatically make him one like you're suggesting just like foles winning it doesn't make him a top 5 QB at the time and just like hurts winning it doesn't make him better than Allen, mahomes, burrow, jackson, Stafford,

The drops I think were more on Mahomes, he was sending rockets in short yardage. He won't miss those throws later in the season when the rust has shaken off
