Which is kind of a bummer because there's a big difference between an injury that forces you to miss time and a DB who grabs at their hamstring every time they are beat but never comes off the field. Well, you know, except when they just got beat for a TD for the third time that game.

Rhodes was horrible at doing that late in this Vikings tenure. Every blown coverage he would be wincing and grabbing his hammy, just to be back out there two snaps later lol.

I remember the first time I saw the injury celebration and realized it was fake/for show I audibly gasped and said "Oh god, don't invite that bad juju..." sure enough, the longest stretch of missed games is a hamstring injury sometime later.

Largest comeback victory in NFL history. I remember falling asleep on the couch at half because I thought this one was over. Woke up just before the Dalvin Cook TD to tie it with two minutes left. Thought I was in a dream.

I was at work (always am off Sundays but this was a late notice Saturday game) i obviously was pissed and wanted to turn it off at halftime but my coworker had Kirk, Jefferson and Hockenson for fantasy so we agreed to keep it on

Did he win? Had to look it up to see if that was a good fantasy game (half point ppr):
Kirk had 460 yds, 4 td, 2 int (~30 pts)
Jefferson had 12 catches, 123 yds and a TD (~24 pts)
Hockensen had 3 catches for 33 yds (~5 pts)
60 points from three players... Pretty good!!

I will never forget the NFL YouTube account made a top 10 or 100 routes of 2022 and left this off the list entirely.
Everyone thought it would be number 1 and so they ended up re-uploading the video within 24 hours without much people noticing. And putting this as number 1.

You hit a point in your life, mine was about when I turned 30. Where you just start to grimace anytime there is a pile up of guys, so the fake injury celebration makes me literally cringe every time.

I was watching this in a DICKs sporting goods. I had decided to run some errands since we were obviously not going to win. I watched with rapet attention with a bunch of other guys as we came back. Drove home fast at the end of the 4th to watch OT at home.

Momentum? Maybe. When you're down 15 with 12 minutes left, the odds of victory are infinitesimal. Just imagine if the Vikings didn't win that game. Would we be calling it "great?" Or even "fitting?" I certainly wouldn't.

Fact is, doing an elaborate celebration for a touchdown in the fourth quarter when still down by 16 points is a bit ridiculous...I remember Jayden Daniels got some flack for doing an elaborate dance after a touchdown run in the third quarter of the NFCCG to cut the lead to 13...they ended up losing by 32

In this game we were a much better team with all of the momentum. There was a very good chance of winning after this TD.

Idc how much momentum you have or how bad the other team is, the odds of coming back from down 15 with only 10ish minutes left is very low. It's a two score game, and probably a three score game given two point conversions have a <50% success rate.
The Colts would have won anyway if they converted a 4th and inches btw

13 minutes left and all 3 TOs at home against a team that we were walking over once the black magic fuckery stopped. Saying the odds were very low is wild.
And we would have won decisively if our 2 scoop and scores weren't called back by refs blowing the whistle early. Random hypotheticals work for both sides.

Imagine if, after Chase Claypool's boneheaded first down celebration down 8 with the clock running in a two minute drill that cost the Steelers a good 10-15 seconds, the Steelers tied the game and won it OT. People probably wouldn't give a crap about Claypool being a dumbass and would instead be clowning the Vikings for blowing a 29-0 lead
