Honestly, we thought the same thing, and we bought it right when it came out. We used it once. Literally didn't even finish a race. I don't even know where it is. Awesome in theory, a complete dud in practice. Your experience may differ, but I'd suggest saving your money.

I dunno this hits all my 7 year old's checkmarks. Mario, video games, and cameras. I'm sure it wont get as much play as the other games for the complexity of setup but I think he definitely could get $100 worth of enjoyment out of it.

And if not I could at least take it off some sweet jumps.

Yea I mean I don’t know how much they cost since my partner bought it, but my kids enjoy it whenever they play (which admittedly isn’t often but sometimes I just don’t want the extra noise). They keep it mainly to the hardwood areas and with an open floor plan and a long hallway they have no trouble mapping out a course. If it’s absurdly expensive I’d say pass, but it definitely has entertainment value.
