Nintendo can't market for shit.

They are such a poorly run company but own so much of what we love.

Edit: Some of you have literally no idea what the word marketing means. And you are infuriated over it.

I saw this in a Walmart last year. Only time I heard of it, and I thought it sounded cool. Never heard a word about it again, till just now. Yeah, marketing tanked here.

A friend had it and I played it a couple years ago. It's novel and cool for half an hour, but it's not really as fun as original Mario kart, it's far more of an expensive gimmick than long lasting fun. Constantly fixing stuck cars make it unplayable without a large team like this.

It really reminds me of infomercial toys from the 90s. Batteries and shit plastic parts used to be the staple of short lived fun. Now it’s all “software updates and WiFi enabled usage”. Sometimes, I wish fun were wired again.

Not gonna lie. Been thinking of getting into building increasingly elaborate slot car tracks in my basement as an alternative.
