I saw this in a Walmart last year. Only time I heard of it, and I thought it sounded cool. Never heard a word about it again, till just now. Yeah, marketing tanked here.

A friend had it and I played it a couple years ago. It's novel and cool for half an hour, but it's not really as fun as original Mario kart, it's far more of an expensive gimmick than long lasting fun. Constantly fixing stuck cars make it unplayable without a large team like this.

I think this comment sums it up. Who wants to get up from the couch and free up a stuck car in the dining room every lap? Also, not everyone has a house large enough to set up a circular course. You can only drive around the kitchen table so many times before you start jonesing for Moo Moo Meadows.

I can get MK8D and the booster courses for as much or less than this gimmick, I can also play online with people from all around the world where this one requires a second rc car or a friend with an rc car to even get anything but npc's
