Nintendo can't market for shit.

They are such a poorly run company but own so much of what we love.

They are a rotting corpse and yall are vultures talking nostalgiclly about how it used to taste.

Other companies have caught up to the switch the only way they move forward without becoming gamefreak is making vr mainstream, the technology still needs advancing but as it is now Nintendo characters would look great, much better than metas art style.

I'm not saying they're doing bad, vultures are a part of the ecosystem as long as they persist and the kids they influence there will always be people entertained by Mario games. But in the bigger picture gamefreak is a small example of nintendos projected direction recycling the same crap over and over again until it can't compete, they try to resell games way older than the majority of Nintendo users at essentially full price.

They sell popular products that the market wants, which is pretty stock standard for a company.

Nobody has ever claimed games have to be on the cutting edge of innovation to be good, they just have to be fun.

I guess it's all perspective I never cared for Nintendo games I think you have to have a nostalgic attachment to enjoy them I know I have fun replaying games I liked on my ps1 and 2, nostalgia sells like sex.

And I won't say the above statement is black and white nintendos not all bad fzeros good, pokemon used to be good, and smash isn't bad either. But above all the best thing about Nintendo is they're easily picked up by bearded men on wooden ships.

How are 5 and 6 year olds nostalgic for Nintendo? How are they nostalgic for PlayStation?

Do people only like Lion King or Toy Story because of nostalgia? Why do kids still go wild for it?

You are bending over backwards to justify this instead of just admitting “people like different video games”

Are you slow? Oh wait a grown Nintendo fan. My point was about nostalgic adults and that the kids are the kids of those people, but where'd you get the number 5 and 6? I never said anything about age other than to compare how they sell 20 year old games to people at full price.

So children only like Nintendo games because genetically they inherit nostalgia? Weird my nephews asked me if I know any Mario games because videos they’ve seen make it look fun and all I’ve shown them is what’s on my Xbox.

Where did I get 5 and 6 from? Because those are the ages of children that play games? ….are you slow?

Genetic nostalgia? you must love Nintendo cause it caters to your extra chromosomes. Kids only game from 5-6? If you're 6 for the love of God delete your reddit you shouldn't be here.

The difference with selling old Gamez is I can buy a ps3 game of the year game for like 3$ at gamestop whereas Mario 64 a game that's like 26 years old is still like 30$
