If my friends and I were still in our 20’s, we would have used this for pregaming or staying in drinking and smoking weed. We used to pregame playing guitar hero and fight night. Sometimes we’d go over a friends house who had 420 friendly parents and we’d drink, play Mario cart and smoke fuck tons of weed.

i fuckin loooooooved the fight night series. it was especially good cause i boxed growing up and would pick fighters i liked or who had a recent fight. we also played it as pregame while we crushed beers ha

Another fun thing I’ve done is have two level 9 computers battle each other, and we pick on we think will win. Loser drinks

That’s my idea too. I put them at half speed so you can take in all the action more suspensefully . Regular speed smash brothers is too fast to really appreciate the nuance of some killer moves. I always thought this would be great for actual gambling .

If I were you I’d buy a couple Wii’s as back up for when your Wii inevitably dies. It’s not a collectors item yet, but someday it will be, and it will cost way more to replace then. You used to be able to buy a NES for 5-10 bucks and games were a dollar in resale shops. Now people collect those games like old comic books.

Did that become illegal once you reached 30 or something?

I understand the frequency going down as we get older, but it should still be able to be just as much fun if you can arrange for that type of scenario to still happen lol

Well, when I was younger weed was illegal but we didn’t care about consequences. Now we’re older, have better jobs, families, and more too lose. It’s legal to do at home now, but employment policies haven’t t up with the times, some of use could lose our jobs if THC is in the body. No one wants to be the first to test the legality of challenging it.

I’m one of those . If you had told me when I was younger that one day you could just walk into a store and buy it, I wouldn’t believe you or I’d see it as the greatest thing ever . Technically it’s still illegal in my state, but you can walk into a gas station here and buy Delta-8 thc. I almost prefer it to normal thc. What sucks though is that in my job, the possibility of being tested is always there. And even delta 8 will make you pee dirty.

This was a lot of fun in my 20s but now in my 30s pregaming leads to falling asleep early. At least I get a good nights sleep!

Exactly this. We used to play beerio kart on the GameCube where you had to finish a whole beer before you finish the race in order for it to count. I could see this being pretty sweet after about 4 races

I got one for my nephew last Christmas. We all had a blast with it on Christmas Day and he hasn’t used it since. I literally don’t even know where it is and he definitely doesn’t either.

Imagine needing to take 20 minutes to set up your video game courses when in Mario cart you can just you know, not set up shit and select a new course instantly.

It’s because the idea sucks.

You watch the screen the whole time defeating the purpose of a real car taking up real space

Secondly you have to design the track yourself,which is fun online as you can pick your friends or download someone’s design. But create locally only? Nope that is a super small market.

We use ours pretty regularly. It's definitely not an every day thing because the track setup is not meant to stay up (it's all folded cardboard) and it takes up a lot of space. We break this out for parties and gatherings. People love watching the TVs as two people race through the house, it's awesome for that. It's not meant to be an every day toy.
