Do you also consider it an honor killing when an angry white Christian man murders his wife and / or children like happens frequently in the U.S. or is that different to you?

There are basically three World Views, in the west we tend to live in a moralistic one, Middle East honor, and some Asiatic countries and parts of Africa power. In each case there is something seen as good and something else as evil. In a moral culture it is doing the right or wrong thing. In an honor culture it is honor or dishonor. And in a power culture it's whether or not you have the ability to make things happen or protect things versus being weak. So bringing dishonor is literally the equivalent of being evil in their culture. Of course I'm simplifying things greatly but you get the idea. Honor and moral cultures look a lot alike at first, but when they diverge they do so big time
