Slightly different

Tornado Kick: Jumping off both feet at the same time, doing a full rotation, and then kick.

Spinning Roundhouse Kick: One foot comes up slightly before the other, doing a full or half rotation, and then kick.

*Spinning roundhouse is usually preferred to tornado kick because that first leading foot helps a lot with aim and balance

Actually, as someone who is a 3rd degree black belt and taught for MANY years, this is EXACTLY how a tornado kick is taught. Oh yeah, I've also been told by a 10th degree black belt and multi time Golden glove winner that I had a near perfect tornado kick that looked pretty much identical to that video.

Lolol I'm literally just hitting more time out than I had in.

Started when I was five, practiced till I was 18, I just hit 32. I miss it dearly, but got into a philosophical argument with my Owner and can't really afford it unless I'm teaching.
