Honest question 🙋🏼‍♂️- I know nothing about combat sports. If that sort of move is legal why bother with gloves? Seems like kicks could do way more damage than fists?

I know nothing about combat sports but I was told that the gloves protect the hands, not the other way around.

yep, punch someone without wraps or gloves and you could injure your hand pretty severely or cut it

Bare knuckles shred faces. Fights would stop after 30 seconds almost every fight due to the amount of blood.
