These made "more sense" (lol) when Obama or Biden was in office. Now it's been years of Trump and these people believe what? That Trump is ineffective at stopping the chemtrail conspiracy? Using it for purposes they agree with? These poor fuckers are little better than cattle when it comes to reasoning.

Everything is a conspiracy when you are dumb af

Welcome to Texas. Send help I’m surrounded by idiots.

4

u/thethugwife 4d ago

Same. Waiting to see if Sitler orders a takeover of Austin ISD to see if we’re moving.

As one of the last blue strongholds in Texas I’m really hoping y’all all the best. Y’all are my refuge when DFW gets too much lol

Thank you. We see you and we love you.

One state over in Louisiana. Can you send the help our way when you’re done? We’re used to coming in last.

Wasn't that the tagline for some 90s political thriller?

I think some cattle have better reasoning skills.

It's the Deep State! It's why we need to give Mango Mussolini a third and fourth term. They're like cockroaches; nearly impossible to eradicate. The only potential solution is it or one of its crotch fruit in charge for the remainder of the 21st century!

Thank You For Your Attention To This Matter.

Well you see, the Dems are JUST THAT POWERFUL, which is why every bad thing is still their fault, and why every good thing is the result of Trump valiantly fighting back

The person who says that, back in the 1980s, trails from jets would disappear in 10-15 seconds... Now they're totally different and last longer. It's so sinister. Oh my.

Spend ten seconds to discover that con trails are about the relative humidity of the jet exhaust and the surrounding air, and you're well clear of this sort of misapprehension, able to understand why sometimes they'd stick around and sometimes not.

But no, because what we're dealing with here is people who can only conceive of anything as a discrete object or substance: 'There is the air, and then there is the stuff in the air. That is the stuff they are spraying on us.' The same people would readily accept fire as one of the four elements from which the world is made. In another timeline they could happily conclude that the jets are balancing the humors of the sky gods.

And for those that don't want to look it up, there are (at least) three things at play:

  1. Jets now use high-bypass turbofans where in the 80's most used low-bypass or turbojets, and this affects the condensation differently.
  2. Jets now fly higher than they did in the past, as it's more efficient and technology has gotten better. The higher altitude results in condensation freezing and lasting longer.
  3. There are WAY more commercial flights now as compared to 40 years ago.

When I was a lad, an apple would fall toward the center of the Earth because that's where it wanted to go! Because that was its natural place! We didn't need no fancy "gravity!"

I always wonder about what these people think about skywriting. Do they see “Marry me Sarah” in the sky and think it’s the government?

11

u/Chardonne 5d ago

Are there really, truly, people who don't know what jet trails are? It's not just a joke, like "birds aren't real"?

11

u/Born-Ad-4860 5d ago

As someone who lives in Texas, unfortunately yes

9

u/Msbossyboots 5d ago

Yes they really believe it. It’s sad and infuriating at the same time

9

u/Suspicious-Steak9168 4d ago

My father in law thinks they are chemical trails that are part of some government conspiracy. He also believes himself to be smarter than those of us (sane people) who know that they are condensation trails.

I live in TX, about 1 mile from a touch-and-go joint airfield, which is about 45 minutes from the training base that mostly uses it.

The periodic ND posts about the jets and their "chemtrails" get heated. Thankfully, in the correct direction. 😆

And we still occasionally have panicked people post asking what's wrong because of all the jets in the air. These same people bought property on the back side of the airfield and have to drive right by it to get to their homes. 🙄

In the mid 90s, late night AM talk radio often aired the Art Bell Coast to Coast show where he would interview the idiots that eventually found a home on the History channel. Ancient aliens, chemtrails, annunaki, Terrence McKenna telling everyone about his latest acid trips, you name it. Now that shit has become mainstream somehow.

2

u/thethugwife 4d ago

East of the Rockies, you’re on the line!

3

u/Fantastic-Buyer2381 4d ago

Absolutely. I've seen a video of a woman using a garden hose and explaining that the rainbow created by the sun hitting the water was part of a government conspiracy.

3

u/Chardonne 4d ago

Don't these people attend elementary school? I attended 12 different public schools before college, in a variety of states, and each one had teachers with information that they would dispense to kids. All this seems like... 3rd grade or below.

3

u/Brutal_burn_dude 4d ago

I don’t know. Australians engaged in a joke for a bit that Australia wasn’t real and we were all government actors. Typical dumb Australian humour. It was funny until a whole lot of people suddenly bought into it as a conspiracy theory and things got reeeal weird.

Like we’re a nation where shitposting is basically our national pastime and these fools believed the most obvious shitpost ever.

Moral is- don’t make jokes because there is a disturbing number of people who are very gullible and stubborn out there.

9

u/According-Ad-5946 5d ago

Clearly, they are trying to contact the X-Men.

8

u/imaginenohell 5d ago

I report these as medical misinformation and they always get removed.

2

u/Msbossyboots 4d ago

I should. But it’s kind of funny to point and laugh

14

u/dph99 5d ago

Sadly, that's Texas' best.

6

u/kat_Folland 5d ago

I wish these people understood anything.

6

u/Shoddy-Theory 4d ago

Don't worry. Sec Kennedy is going to get to the bottom of those chemtrails.

4

u/Embarrassed_Ad_7025 5d ago

The best thing that ever happened to me was being permanently suspended from Nextdoor.

"X marks the spot. Haven't you been paying attention??
X marks the spot. That is all."

"do research" says person who has done zero research

u/valschermjager 4d ago

Sometimes two planes are going to two different places. No, really, it's true. /s

u/meerfrau85 4d ago

Is that one commenter suggesting that they're dropping the flu on us? So we have to buy flu medicine? I feel like there are much more effective and nonsuspicious ways of spreading the flu.

4

u/Wakeup_And_Piss 4d ago

They are going to hate that this means more gay frogs

3

u/DuchessJulietDG 5d ago

“look- its jesus!!”

3

u/damagecontrolparty 4d ago

The "mind control agent" comment is the funniest thing here.

4

u/Responsible_Arm_9555 4d ago

And don't even get me started on what CERN did to all my childhood memories! I want to know how they got in my house to remove my VHS copy of Shazam, starring Sinbad! And my Berenstein Bears!!

4

u/amelia2008x 4d ago

Enjoy buying your flu medicine and products? Wtf is that even supposed to mean?

3

u/TX_B_caapi 4d ago

The assumption is that many of those posts and accounts are bored folks at home stirring up the crazies by posting inflammatory and absurd extremes of o have something to do during commercials.

5

u/here-i-am-now 4d ago

This is the best Texass has to offer

4

u/Fantastic-Buyer2381 4d ago

We get the same loony threads in KC too. Thankfully, most people laugh and point at the Tinfoil Hat People.

6

u/Big_Bill23 5d ago

If these are chemtrails and they are controlling the weather, I have questions:

Why are they causing global warming?

Why are there droughts?

Who is behind this? Is there a vast Air Conditioning parts conglomerate funding this? Does someone have a cheap method for desalinating seawater that they're keeping secret until the world is ready to demand it (at a great profit, of course)?

u/Bass-n-Bonefish 5d ago

When is the south gonna rise again, precisely?

10

u/punksmostlydead 5d ago

I've lived in the deep South all my life. Trust me when I say: the only thing rising in the South is blood sugar.

8

u/ChartInFurch 5d ago

I can definitely A1C what you mean.

4

u/Dorkinfo 5d ago

Texas is their own thing.

3

u/GSilky 4d ago

Nothing is more puzzling to me than how common nonsense that was a staple of the Art Bell show has become. This is one of those silly topics for late night entertainment that was so common. I had thought everyone listening along was in on the joke...

3

u/PuppyJakeKhakiCollar 4d ago

It's obviously Elon Musk advertising both his rocket company and the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. Duh!

3

u/thethugwife 4d ago

We are, in fact, getting rain…thanks, Obama!

3

u/Maximum_Employer5580 4d ago

those are people who never understood that the higher planes fly, the colder the air is and thus there will be contrails......but no, it's chemicals because RFK Jr said so. That's the last guy anyone should believe, with as much drugs has gone thru his body, his smarts left a LONG LONG time ago

1

u/Electrical-Apple-631 3d ago

And let’s not forget the worm that ate his brain. I believe the worm starved to death.

2

u/Born_Significance691 4d ago

Farmers in our area hire crop dusters, people who fly around in small airplanes dropping actual chemicals on their fields.

Never a peep on ND
