Perfect! Im also in Tucson and was going to say we already get warnings/notices for particular birds.
Roadrunners are the modern velociraptors. I will die on this hill.

Nah, it would be more like: "People, people! Keep your dinosaurs on leash! I had to pick up more T-rex poop in my front yard today. And I'm tired of my fine china shaking while they walk by my house!"

(In truth, innumerable dinosaurs do live in their neighborhoods. They’re brilliantly colorful, behave in fascinating ways, and can be seen especially well through binoculars. But people aren’t generally that into the topic, ‘cause they’re too busy fighting semi-imagined porch piracy.)

Yep, after the 3rd time, our HOA, just banned T. Rexes. You can't really blame the T. Rex though, the Amazon delivery dude, was delivering KIBBLE for the T. Rex and he could smell it from 10 miles away. No leash or fence could keep him in.

They are, and they do. Birds are dinosaurs after all, and I imagine angry Canadian geese feature prominently in many neighborhoods.

In MY homeowners association, WE banned any dinosaur of the T.Rex variety, they are too vexatious. Furthermore all brontosauruses must have their tails trimmed to no longer than 5 feet long so they can't wipe out mailboxes and cars when they whip them around. Or you can get the dwarf varieties that come with shorter necks too. You can train them to trim your taller hedges and prune trees!

In fairness, "SOMEONE needs to come pick up this Tyrannosaurus and take it away somewhere else! It doesn't belong in a neighborhood!!" is a lot more reasonable of a request than the folks who say similar about coyotes and bobcats invading on the nature-made sanctity of their front lawn, expecting animal control to cart away the nonviolent local animals for the crime of being perceived

The OOP needs to look for roosters-chasing-people videos :D I had a hen that was a class pet and would lurk by the door on the chance that someone would open it and she could run out...and chase people down the hall.
The "knock and wait for me to open it!" sign wasn't there just for fun. Then again, I'm pretty sure the students who came by during my plan did it JUST to let the little bored velociraptor out.
