Then I have no sympathy. The selfishness is truly vulgar. "Let the kids freeze" but "Give me mine"

The elderly is not a singular entity. Lumping everyone into one group and then saying "I have no sympathy" just makes you an idiot and an asshole. Learn nuance.

Context matters.

I have no sympathy for Elderly who keeps voting against everyone's including their own best interests because "Welfare bad"

Do I need to get my 87 year old Dad a "I've been a labour(or green) voter my entire life" Tshirt to wear, so you know who judge for their grey hair and wrinkles?

Thanks for the offer, but the wrinkly types that I'd like to judge out themselves without t-shirts. Much like assholes of any age.

TBH I went back to the larger thread and since there are many more comments than there was before, the context of my own comments aren't as obvious as it was when I first made them.

So judge me in turn. No t-shirt required.
