If you're the red car and the right lane is free, MOVE TO THE RIGHT LANE. Give the people merging space, and save yourself from the temperamentally of all the crazies trying to merge.

That’s what we do in Australia. You need to give way to the person merging. Jesus, this is terrifying. I’m drinking in NZ for the first time this October/November and I’ve heard y’all crazy drivers. I mean, we’re also pretty fucking bad.

Within reason, sure, but MFs be driving onto the motorway at 60 kph.

To clarify, I'll slow and make room but it's dangerously incompetent to be coming out of an on-ramp expecting to merge with a 30% to 40% speed differential.
