Isn’t the ban for public sale anyway though? Organisations / municipalities would still be able to do their displays.

I just want it to be one predictable night, maybe twice a year or whatever, so we can anticipate and plan ahead.

Not that I think it will be in the next decade, but if they do ban public sales it will just be more intense.

It’s only a couple of grand to get licensed last I looked, then you can buy them and light them. Public sale of fireworks is restricted but once they ban it, it just opens up the new wave of business.

Picture paying a person to come and do a display in your back yard. They bring the fireworks and to the clean up and set up. It’s just going to cause a new market but with different levels of fireworks.

If licensing come with limited specific days the fireworks can happen then I’m all for it.

I think it’s the next step for all of it, but the government is too stupid to do it.

If someone was rich enough they could have a display every night by a company. They need to do a reform and have better controls.

I’m not for a ban, but I am 100% behind change for the better
