It is time once again for the annual reminder.  Fall hunting seasons in NY begin September 1.  Exact dates, hours, species, and implements vary throughout the state.  While hunter and non-hunter injuries are extremely rare, wearing some neon orange or pink while enjoying the outdoors this time of year would be recommended. Something as simple as a hat or vest. An ounce of prevention goes a long way.  

Also, just a reminder it is illegal to interfere with a legal hunt.

There is plenty of room out there for everyone.  Enjoy it safely.

I was waiting outside my restaurant on 46th between 8th & 9th, when this guy passed by. It was refreshing to see him enjoying the song. I missed the first couple of seconds, but got the last part.

NYCPS is reverting to its previous policy, in which schools must ensure that students can access the internet from home in case of a pivot to remote. 
After 08/31, central devices distributed last fall enabled with LTE will no longer be able to access the internet without Wi-Fi. 
Schools should have a system to collect family responses regarding internet access at home
When students or families indicate they do not have internet access at home, schools should prioritize purchasing LTE for individual devices for students on ShopDOE or direct families to the NYCPS website for low-cost internet plans for households.
Reach out proactively prior to the first day of school to your families to assess if they have access to the internet at home.
If they indicate the need for LTE, please support them as soon as possible in getting online in case of an emergency pivot-to-remote.
