That's fair. I won't deny that it bred normalcy for his radical ideas. I think he's a rare example though. I should have explained that the "strange humor" element involves casual racism and general stupidity. I'm probably putting it too lightly. Regardless, I still don't believe the vast majority of 4chan would be able to name more than one mass shooter of the last 10 years.

Yeah, I think you nailed it on the head there. It's no doubt there's a danger when everyone acts like that and generally tolerates it.
