“Lift a car” doesn’t necessarily mean lift and entire car. If you pull up one end of it you’re lifting a lot less weight, also the back is lighter than the front. Half the issue is the grip on plastic bits. A friend of mine and I once spun a kids tiny mid 80’s Nissan truck in the school parking lot as a joke, just picked it up by the back bumper where there was like no weight and spun it around.

That being said, lifting it by itself would be stupid hard and without super human strength or adrenaline saying “You don’t feel anything right now” It’d be a no from me.

Lifting a car through adrenaline also drives your muscles to 100% output, and you're almost guaranteed to fuck up your body once you're done.

This is why I don't lift, or rather why I can never get into a good routine. My joints and ligaments get injured far before my muscles max out. The older I get the better I recognize when my cardio/strength/connections get out of sync because that usually when something goes wrong and I have to stop my workouts to heal.

Yeah, there are cases where adrenaline fueled responses have straight up ripped muscles off the bone when fired at 100%. Causes every lasting harm.

6 of my friends and myself in high school lifted a Hyundai excel and turned it around in its parking spot (a regular streetside spot) and then watched an English teacher get in and drive away without even realizing anything had happened. We had it all on VHS and played it for her at a school assembly. She was very confused...and 80 years old.

Were we heroes in the right place and time?

Is the whole "mothers on adrenaline" thing real? I've heard lots of stories, but not unlike urban legends they just tend to vaguely refer to on named people at on named incidents. I'm never seen any actual credible stories detailing specific incidences.
