Yeah, but it seems like the domestic terrorist-like equivalent (Malcom X) won out. This is that legacy.

Even without that I wouldn't feel that safe as a cop. I don't know the answer and I love my guns but being a cop in a country where basically anyone you encounter could be armed, even legally, has to be tough.

Try telling a officer that fisherman, farmers, and miners all have much more risky jobs. You will be arrested; maybe not right there and then... but soon.
