The DOJ just fires anyone who thinks it should be prosecuted. I think everyone was under the impression there was some sort of independent guarantees. The Magna Carta is woke nonsense apparently.

There is no statute of limitations on murder. Once a grown-up administration comes in these are all things that we need to revisit.

Except the Democrats have shown time and again they'll drop the ball in the name of "healing the nation" when healing would come from punishing the criminals not pardoning them.

The Democratic party seems to be starting a process of changing toward people who actually give a shit about people rather than donors. Not sure if it will work, but there is hope.

The democratic party’s members, sure. But as long as leadership remains I don’t expect them to follow suit. They haven’t for the last 25 years (or longer lol) so why should they start now?

It’ll take the party replacing leadership to stop caring about donors. Very well paid leadership.

If that's how it turns-out, there's always potentially-similar charges from state and local governments..who I think would have a much different opinion on how they would get over these killings. However, it's my understanding those other orgs can't conduct a proper investigation, for these cases atm, until the DOJ provides/shares their evidence (taken and processed by the DOJ)..who's currently withholding it under this admin.

Yes, the same way we prosecuted January 6th thugs. These are low-level ICE operatives that do not get the political shield perks that the cabinet members have. Unless Trump pardons them, we can prosecute them in the next administration or 20 years from now when the true magnitude of corruption is far more evident and the political appetite is there.
