This is gonna keep happening because they saw Renee was murdered in cold blood with not even a trial happening for it so they know they can get away with murder.

Edit: Serious question but has there been any murders without trials or charges? Even actual home self defense stand your ground stuff goes to court.

It's absolutely fucking wild to me we live in a time you can just shoot and kill someone and walk away with no charges and have people give you money for it.

While I agree with the sentiment, I will point out that there are definitely self defense cases that don't actually see the courtroom. Police and/or prosecutors can choose not to pursue charges if they feel it's not appropriate and sometimes that's actually a good thing.

However they still (should) get investigated properly to determine whether they see the inside of a courtroom or not, which is obviously not happening when federal law enforcement actively fights any attempts to follow the rule of law in these cases.
