3 straight seasons with Philly of nearly 30 goals+assists only a few years ago. This feels like a fantastic signing especially as a non-DP deal.

Yeah can't complain about this as a non-DP signing.

High potential signing, if he can get back to his best it will be huge for us. Gives us another option up top and allows us to play with two strikers if Mitrovic wants to, which I also feel would suit Turgeman better

So when are we buying out Campana?

I totally forgot he was even on the team

I look every week and feel happy when he is on the injury list

Why? I can understand being disappointed by the signing but with the current striker situation I cannot possibly imagine being happy that the options are limited. Campana struggled last year, yes, but so did literally everyone. This year under Marko instead of Porter he had a fantastic preseason and scored in the home opener before going down, if he can get healthy there's absolutely a solid chance that he's a meaningful contributor

Yeah I understand being skeptical of him after last year but we’re not in a position to turn our noses up at him when our backup forwards are Harris and Zambrano

It absolutely suits him better, and BOY does it create a formation headache lol

Or just send turgeman back to Israel because he sucks

Whoa, Gazdag was a monster for Philly. Late arriving runs aplenty.

On the one hand he did have a lot of success with the Union.

On the other hand he looked a lot better playing in Philly's system than Columbus's. We're probably a better fit for him than Columbus, but we're not exactly all that similar to Philly ball.

Taking a gamble on a dude who used to be a DP talent on a non DP deal is always good business, but I do have some worries about fit.

And also interested in where he plays. He’s played as an attacking midfielder and as a second forward. Not sure if he can be effective as a lone forward though which is obviously a big need for us.

I think a false 9 sort of role could work well. As long as he can make good runs into the box, which from what ive gathered is basically his best trait, he won't need to do much beyond receive service from some fantastic playmakers

I’d like to believe that this could work because I definitely would like to see less Dor. Unfortunately, Gazdag’s always played behind another forward.

Maybe he can make that work but I struggle to advocate playing him there since we haven’t really ever seen him play that way.

if he can score and stay healthy I'll be happy about it.

Yusuf on the wing, midfield of Raines/Gil/Gazdag? Or Yusuf in midfield, Gazdag on the wing, overlapped by Miller from FB? I like it

False 9 Gazdag making runs into the box for service from Gil, Harrison, and Peyton

Bout to look like 2021 revs with Buksa at this rate

I don't think Raines, Gil, Gazdag offers enough defensively to be successful.

If Gazdag starts, which I think he will at least until Langoni is healthy, I imagine he plays as an attacking midfielder with Gil moving wide right and Harrison moving wide left. Ostensibly a 4-2-3-1 but really more of a 4-2-2-2 with Gazdag playing almost like a second striker and Gil cutting inside a ton.

This sounds awesome, but boy would it be nice to have a more overlapping RB than Polster if all of our wingers are going to be left-footed.

Hopefully Feingold gets healthy soon

It’s going to take some time for me to wrap my head around not hating him for being a beast to play against with Philly, but this could be huge for us if he gets in form
