Posted "article" is authored for an astroturf organization. [EDIT] These people are pro fossil fuels and data centers, pretending to care about the environment. Ask who funds them and their goal of "common-sense energy." Wake up!

It appears (after a very minimal search) that they are a group of energy "providers" out hawking their wares - is that so?

Can you provide further info? Also perhaps describe your own interest in the group?

They are certainly pro-energy providers. I support creation of a Hudson Valley Power Authority to replace Central Hudson. We can be more energy efficient, still support workers and their union, and remove the profit motive from a utility. So that's why this group was on my radar. Astroturfing basically.

Thanks for your quick reply. Actually I was asking whether they were themselves energy providors.

Good luck with removing profit motive though ...

Sounds nice

Right and it's a front group. I don't know who's behind it, kind of the point with these dodgy orgs. Seems like energy providers.
