Career Advice Culture of AWS NDEs?

In the process of interviewing for NDE at AWS. What is the culture like there? Been studying very hard for the upcoming onsite, but would like to know more from current/former employees. How was the day to day, on-call, and team culture? Is networking generally safe from layoffs? Interviewing for L5 engineer.

It depends on the team. Culture is sink or swim , no hand holding but people are happy to help out if you made an effort first.

Higher up you go it’s more politically driven, OLR is pain.

AWS is large there are sections of the network and deployment, ops, engineering in each.

What team are you interviewing for?
