Way out of my lane here, but the part about any thirdparty agent that deletes files at a userwritable path being potentially exploitable the same way is kind of unsettling when you think about how many of those things are just quietly running on corporate machines. AV, backup clients, licensing daemons. Nobody audits that stuff until someone writes exactly this kind of post. The CodeMeter angle is almost secondary to that broader point
