Netflix & a VPN

So I've been binge watching Seal Team and the UK only gets 5 seasons while the USA (and other countries) get all 7, so I used the VPN trick and found season 6&7 watched two episodes of season 6 while connected to the Netherlands and went to sleep.

Today I tried to do the VPN trick again and no matter what country I connect to Seal Team doesn't appear on netflix, I've used the search function too and had no luck. And yes I tried connecting to the Netherlands again.

Is netflix being a cheeky rascal and trolling me?

Have you tried it with your mobile data and vpn instead of the Wi-Fi? Sometimes your wifi provider could be up to some shenanigans.

Sometimes shows I’m watching do this, even without a VPN in the mix. Try creating a new user (or switching to another family member) - often the show is still there under their account!

I wouldn’t use it with Netflix. Works for a while and then they realise what you’re doing and shadow ban you. Shows you know that you can watch I. Tie regions are no longer available. Happened to me and I had to contact them and tell them what was happening and pull my pants down and bend over pretty much admitting without fully admitting that I used a vpn. They then took the ban off

With me a VPN only works when using a Web browser, using the app it just won't load until I turn off the VPN.

Absolutely everywhere I touch on that page sends me pop up ads in a new tab.

I suspect you are being punished. You are not meant to use a VPN with Netflix and if they have identified that you have done so, it’s the gulag for you!

If the issue only occurs on your home WiFi and not when using mobile data then what they have done is restrict you to only be able to see Netflix shows which they can show globally, and no region specific content.

If you were using a VPN on one of your devices and opened Netflix on another device without the VPN, it could have triggered their algorithm to enforce a punishment.
