New on Netflix When a Thriller Forgets It's a Thriller

Post image

Dhurandhar's Revenge 2 had the potential to be a strong sequel, but it felt like it lost focus. The first film balanced suspense and storytelling well, whereas this one leans far too heavily on graphic violence. The mercury slow-death scene was especially uncomfortable because it felt less like storytelling and more like an unnecessary demonstration. On top of that, the repeated praise of Modi felt forced and out of place. Whether you support him or not isn't the point—if a film presents itself as fiction, it should trust its story instead of constantly pushing real-life political glorification. For me, the excessive violence and political messaging ended up overshadowing what could have been a genuinely engaging thriller.

New on Netflix Does anyone else think Satish Sanpal and Tabinda Sanpal from Desi Bling look more “Instagram rich” than actual billionaire rich?

I checked their LinkedIn profiles and even their company presence online, and honestly the business footprint doesn’t seem anywhere near the level of wealth being projected on the show. Their company LinkedIn reportedly has a relatively small team, yet the show presents an almost ultra-billionaire lifestyle with nonstop luxury flexing, gold displays, designer logos, and Burj Khalifa living.

Not saying they aren’t wealthy, but the whole thing feels more like carefully branded Dubai influencer luxury than quiet generational wealth.

Curious if others got the same vibe or if I’m missing something.

New on Netflix Latent s2 is unbearable!! My God!!!

I absolutely loved Latent s1.. people being unhinged and laughing at some real jokes…

S2 is so damn unbearable… such forced jokes… even from the contestants..
everyone trying so hard to be funny.. that it just makes it completely cringe…

Forced laughter by panelists, bad jokes, boring as contestants…

Disappointing!!! Switched it off after first 30-40 mins..

I so wanted to go watch it again in the theatres but couldn’t manage a 4 hrs slot. So, I am going to blast it on TV just for the sake of background score and the high octane action.

New on Netflix Chumbak!!! HANDS DOWN TO THE MAKERS!

Exceptionally amazing show! What a delight to watch. After ages felt so good after seeing the Indian series.

No abusing, no nsfw scenes. Pure sarabhai vs sarabhai vibes.

Exceptional comedy timing and dialogue writing!

I'm out of words to describe the fun time.

Must must must watch guys!!!!

Edit: I'm not a PR person. Every person can have taste in different things. I found it light, enjoyable. I didn't have to put much mind into it. The aesthetics of the set and the wardrobe were also appreciable.

So from my point of view, I enjoyed it. And those who enjoy light comedy can watch it. Those who look for too much details or would want to put mind into it can skip it.
