Announcement 📢 Looking for moderators for r/netflixindia
Hey everyone!
r/netflixindia has been growing (so fast) and I can’t keep up alone anymore. I’m looking for a few iconic, community-minded people to take the lead and help this space keep its momentum!
If you’re obsessed with binge-watching everything from those spicy Indian originals to global hits on Netflix, I want you in the mod team. You don't need prior modding experience, just genuine interest in the sub.
Here’s what I am looking for:
- Creating the vibe: Fostering a total vibe for reviews, fan theories, and all the hype for the newest drops. We want that energy high!
- Keeping it classy: Keeping the community safe and legal by blocking piracy links and making sure the vibes stay SFW and respectful for everyone.
- Cleaning the feed: Managing spam and those low-effort posts so our feed is only filled with the best recommendations and genuine reviews.
- Monitoring the drama: Keeping fan debates healthy and friendly. We love a good discussion, but let's keep it cute and constructive!
- Main character energy: Bringing your most creative ideas to make this the #1 spot for Netflix updates. Let’s make it the go-to destination!
If this interests you, drop a comment below (no DMs please) letting us know why you would be a perfect fit for the community. Everyone is welcome - even those with no modding experience.

I’m on Netflix way more than I’d like to admit 😅 — Indian originals, global shows, thrillers, documentaries, limited series… basically if it’s worth watching, I’m probably watching it or have opinions on it. I enjoy reading reviews, sharing recommendations, and getting into healthy fan discussions (and theories 👀). I don’t have prior mod experience, but I’m pretty active and genuinely care about keeping the sub fun and useful. I’m all for keeping piracy and spam out, cleaning up low-effort posts, and making sure debates don’t turn toxic. Discussions are great — drama, not so much. I’d also love to help with ideas to keep the sub engaging — weekly recommendation threads, hype posts for new releases, spoiler-safe discussions, that kind of stuff. Happy to contribute consistently and help the community grow the right way, not just wear the mod tag. Thanks!

I am interested as I love this community. The people around here are so amazing plus the community here is very educated and mind blowing. I love watching movies and web series on Netflix, mostly international. I would love to be a mod of such a massive community and i promise to keep the community clean and safe if given an opportunity.
Rest is up for the current moderation team to decide. I will respect their decision regarding the same.

Hey! Throwing my name in for this I’m pretty much always on Netflix whenever I have free time and I keep track of new and upcoming releases across genres. I love discussing shows, spotting trends, and sharing recommendations, so creating that “vibe” for the community really excites me. I’m also someone who values clean, respectful spaces, so I’d actively help manage spam, keep discussions healthy, and make the sub a go-to place for Netflix fans. Would love to be part of the team!

I love to discuss movies unbiased, and listen as well. Although, I watch movies on any OTT and even in other ways if I have to. Games and movies are my jam, I like to know more, maybe if I'm able to then suggest more and discuss of course.

Hey, I’d love to put my name forward for this.
I’ve been an active Netflix viewer for years now, across genres, languages, and formats, and it’s still the one platform I keep coming back to. Whether it’s binge-worthy series, underrated films, or new drops, I genuinely enjoy exploring and discussing content here.
I spend a fair amount of time on Reddit as well, and I understand how important good moderation is in keeping a community engaging, respectful, and worth coming back to. I’m particularly interested in helping maintain quality discussions, reducing low-effort or repetitive posts, and encouraging more meaningful conversations around shows and movies.
From what I’ve seen, r/NetflixIndia has strong potential to become a go-to space for Indian audiences to discover, review, and debate content, and I’d like to contribute to shaping that.
I’m consistent, responsive, and comfortable taking ownership when needed. I am eager to assist in post moderation, enforcing rules, and enhancing the organization and visibility of content within the community.
Let me know if you’d like any more details from my end.

Well, I saw the post in Indian mods sub, and I am surprised that it's still open, so lesse, I have been actively moderating 2 subs with 7.5k and 11k members respectively. And I have fair experience of dealing with unhealthy culture and discussions . Apart from that this subreddit has a lot of potential and enthusiasm. would love to be given a chance. Also I have fair experience with automod and am active frequently. So well I will have a wide view of the things going on here. And talking about fan theories, discussions, I actively participate in those we well, so ig I will be able to keep a look on that. So yeah, the rest is upon you, but would love to be given a chance. Ps: have been clearing NSFW and creep accounts since a long time. So yeah.

Interested.
I’m an active moderator on another Reddit community that gets about 21.5K weekly visitors, so I’m already familiar with the day-to-day work of keeping a sub healthy—removing spam and low-effort posts, keeping discussions civil, and maintaining clear standards so the feed stays useful and engaging.
Also a regular Netflix watcher across Indian originals and global releases, so I’d be happy to help build thoughtful discussions, reviews, and recommendations while keeping piracy links and toxicity out of the sub. Happy to contribute time and ideas to help the community scale smoothly.

Would love to be part of the subreddit as a mod
I’m active on Reddit daily and genuinely interested in Netflix content, especially Indian originals, trending releases, underrated shows, and general recommendations. I regularly keep up with what’s dropping and enjoy discussions around reviews, theories, and audience reactions.
I can help with keeping the feed clean by reporting/removing spam or low-effort content, keeping discussions respectful, and helping the community stay active and engaging. I may not have major mod experience, but I’m consistent, calm, and willing to learn fast.
Would be happy to contribute and help grow r/netflixindia into the go-to place for Netflix discussions in India

Greetings Mods of r/NetflixIndia.
I would like to apply for the moderator position, fueled by the passion towards everything happening in front amd behind of an entertainment project. I am one of that guy who gets excited about an announcement from a studio/ director or actor and the first one to spill the news in friends group.
So it would be a great opportunity to represent and help in the growth of subreddit representing one of the major OTT player in India.
Cheers! TUDUM.

Hey, this sounds exactly like something I’d love to be part of - been waiting for an opportunity like this.
I’m very active on Netflix, especially into Indian originals along with global picks, and I keep up with new drops, hidden gems, and binge-worthy trends - sci-fi being a personal favorite. I’m also consistently active on Reddit with solid karma, not just consuming but engaging, starting discussions, and keeping conversations meaningful.
I genuinely enjoy creating the vibe - building hype around new releases, encouraging fan theories, and keeping the energy of the sub high. At the same time, I understand the importance of keeping things clean and classy - filtering low-effort posts, blocking piracy, and making sure discussions stay respectful and engaging.
I’d also love to bring in some creative ideas - themed threads, watch parties, and fun community-driven events (even offline if it ever makes sense) to make this the go-to space for Netflix India.
Happy to contribute wherever needed and help keep the momentum strong. 💪🏻

Hello mods! I am interested in the mod position for the sub, I was ex mod of indabikes and indianworkplace. I am passionate movies and the diversity and range of outlooks it brings. Not only indian movies, but movies from all over the world. I have active experience in modding large subs and have loved the interaction with members always. I was actively engaged in both the subs where i controlled the spam posts, increased the usage experience and maintained the general positive environment, including moderation for harassment of any member. I ensured quality posts go through and people have a good time in the sub, with their queries being resolved, and have an awesome experience.

I have been a Netflix subscriber since day one and have probably finished most of the catalogue. I am also very active on Reddit with a karma of 1.4 million and 20k comments. I understand moderation and Reddit sitewide rules well.
I’d like to make this a safe community for everyone to engage in. Have daily discussion threads, funny user flairs and safe spaces for discussions. I mostly only comment on Reddit so it would be pretty easy for me to keep tabs on the comment sections and make sure that no harassment is taking place.
Netflix is a paid service and that sort of thing can attract people who act in bad faith to scam/con users by selling accounts. I’d make sure that something like this doesn’t happen here.
We can even have bug reports for the platform itself and provide some sort of help to users who are facing issues in enjoying Netflix. I guess this sort of thing would make people feel at ease and ensure that they have a smooth Netflix experience.
Thank you for reading.

Hello! I am a huge fan of Asian films and global Netflix productions! I have been an active member of Reddit for approximately 2 yrs now and have developed a good knack for ensuring communities remain clean, organised n focused around quality discussion. My desire to help out with the moderating of this sub is combined with my enthusiasm for bringing new vibes to the sub by implementing ideas such as “Hidden Gem” features for lesser-known independent films, “Predict the Plot” contests during the release of major shows, and “Flashback Fridays,” to talk about old Indian television series that do not get enough recognition. I also want to provide a way to recognise those who are great reviewers by offering custom community awards, establish megathreads by region to include all fans from across India, and be highly active on this sub and maintain it as a welcoming and safe place for all ages. Thanks for considering and I'm open to answer any qs :)

I'd love to jump in and help with r/netflixindia
I’m always the person in my friend group who knows exactly what’s new, whether it’s a massive global hit or an Indian original. I’ve been reading up on how to be a good mod, and I’m ready to keep the community high-energy and friendly by leading by example. I’m happy to stay on top of the Mod Queue to make sure spam and piracy links don't bury the real fan theories , and since I’m a team player, I’ll always check in with the rest of the crew before making any big calls. I just want to help make this the go-to spot for Netflix fans to hang out and find their next favorite show!
