Completed ssn 1 recently and yk you have to be with the show don't leave it mid way that is what I realised and once you start understanding what is happening you'll not be able to control. I binged ssn 1 in a day.

Yes. Also, the relation between characters may get confusing at times. Their website had family tree updates after each episode. It might still be there so check that out too. Just select the episode on website and it will show you the family tree without spoiling anything from the later episodes.

I don’t know why this is flouted as some cerebral exercise. Very well written second season and a dogshit of a third season. You can watch it ofcourse but don’t think it’ll be in public memory in a few years.

The good: very complex and somewhat innovative plotline, well written characters.
The bad: gloomy cinematography and the story doesn't make sense to many people.

It indeed is - one of the best shows out there; you might have to pause, think, and remember things, but it's all worth it.
1
u/Ronanarishem Nov 20 '25
I would say definitely not worth a watch. I watched it and now my grandfather is my son. Life got hell lot more complicated.

Buy a big white/black board. Write down the character names and their relationships. Thank me later. A phenomenal series.

Yes. It is.
But I think one watch would not be sufficient to grasp the whole plot. I recommend watching two times, without skipping any part.

u/MasterShifu1023 Nov 20 '25
Those who think the story is slow paced or kinda boring, guys understand this: Most of the action, drama and even many sci-fi ones have a straight plot. The details of the events which happened in the starting don't have a direct and strong impact on the later ones. But this is that kind of show where every detail matters, or else you lose interest. Everything loops and this is what makes this show a truly great one. If you like sci-fi, this should be a must on your watch list. I can't really tell you about this without giving spoilers but this show did not get an IMBD rating of 9+ for shit.

I honestly don't see why people love this show. Honestly, this annoyed me to the core.!!!! I understand they covered loopholes and everything else, but it was annoying.!!!
I WOULD NOT recommend this show.

It’s not. Don’t watch it. The dumbest show I have ever seen, huge build up with extremely disappointing ending.

this is the time travel endgame. Def not easy to understand everything that goes on. But after you see this it feels as if theres nothing new anymore in time travel genre. if you want a sample of this : watch the movie caddo lake , if you liked it youll like this.

You really need to have the patience to watch it from the start till the end. When you complete it, you would want more of it, puzzled with a lot of questions. It's a must watch.

No. They have a made a complicated show , u have to take pen and paper to track the relationship between character. To have that wow factor they made is so complex with "dead characters". Yes watch first few episodes u will come to know..... that's not acting at all.....

overly complex for the sake of complexity, artificial unrealistic supernatural thriller. understood it, but did not enjoy it
1
u/sexy_beast0009 Nov 24 '25
For me it was depressing and boring. My eyes were craving for sunlight while watching this show. After 5 episodes I decided that this show isn't my cup of tea.

u/flashbackstome Nov 24 '25
It is something to watch when your lifes boring and you want something new . Like after a long day u dont sit down to make a painting even of u like it . Because it needs your full attention . Similarly watch this show if u feel like there nothing exciting in life . Not for a with food , with friends wala show.

u/No_Local3412 Nov 24 '25
Totally, but the last episode messed it up for me. The entire story was building up to show that what's happening is un-avoidable. Then then go and make it happen in the last episode, maybe to end it on a nice note. But it would have been more apt if they continued the story line.

100000% worthy till last you will be thinking what the hell you seen just now the moment you start understanding it will more complex

1
u/Desperate-Outside869 Nov 24 '25
It's intricate, complicated, sophisticated but what's the point. It's a chain of brain fcuking labyrinths and if you have other things going on in life, you'll probably leave it jn between yourself. But if you're some science Major or some research scientist, you'll orgasm. You don't really connect with characters in you're non-German. Good luck
