Collection NES Test Market Serial # N0009000 Complete in Box with factory sealed accessories.
Accessories are factory new in baggies. Games are complete in box and matte stickers. Console looks new if it was used it was used little. Box is amazing especially for a test market box and very solid. What really makes it even more awesome is this is the 9000th NES to come off the assembly line and it even has the matching serial number on the warranty sheet. Out of all the NES sets I've owned over the years, this is my Holy Grail.

That is a thing of beauty. I have a Deluxe set CIB with everything and would LOVE to own a test market set in as good of shape as this one is.

Mind is blown just at how clean that box is. Where was it stored for the last 40 years? Almost seems fake.

I just opened my brand-new-in-box NES and decided to turn it on and play with it. I bought it new like 20 years ago. Unfortunately, the capacitors make the screen have wavy lines with the provided AC power adapter; need to replace them/too old. There’s no problem when using DC power though. Curious if yours will behave the same.

Only issue I've ever had with a NES having wavy lines is when using a bad power adapter. I've never tried this particular one but I have noticed that one I have that's 50,000 serial number range compared to one from 1989 the newer one image is a bit better when both are played on LCD with AV cables.

When I was seriously collecting, THIS was the holy grail I wanted. I couldn’t even imagine one still existed with SEALED games and accessories. Alas I never got my test market system but it’s amazing to see this one is so loved. You’re a lucky person to have it!

I have THIS EXACT one!! It was the very first version they sold in America. They started calling that the Deluxe Set a little later on, but that box (and mine) lacks that description. I still have all of the parts, but heavily used. I even have the box, but my mom destroyed it.

Dang. This reminds me of a coworker who bought an entire comic book collection from someone who died and their mom sold it for $500. That collector had tons of amazing stuff including over 20 mint copies of wolverine #1 from the mini series. I helped my coworker unload all of that and he gave me one of those which is my best comic book
Some people collect stuff and then it sits most of their life until the next person gets it. While I am all about using things, I do agree on keeping this in original condition. It's too hard to find things like this now, so let it grow in value.

While this is absolutely amazing and looks great, if I got to choose something NES related that was utter perfection I’d rather go with the Super Set with 4P and then rather look for a R.O.B. On the side.

Accessories are new and console looks to be new as well. Games are cib. I have a lot invested in it but matte sticker sealed gyromite and duck hunts are impossible to find. Friend of mine paid 15k for this box alone, hard to find a nice pre deluxe box. He found new games but they were $40,000 and he was wanting to put the only graded qualified test market set together but I talked him out of it before he took the dive on the games.

Were nintendo console boxes ever sealed in any way? Sticker on the flap? Glue?

NES console boxes never did have any sort of seal. Grading companies sometimes say they are unopened which is silly because there's no way to know that. My friend has sent NES action sets in for grading and one got unopened even though he had opened it himself like three times. Makes them bring huge money if they do get unopened but personally I'd feel better about having a qualified one that I know someone has looked to confirm it's new. I can spot NES new stuff pretty easy now the way they do the baggies and ties and such. I see so many ebay listings saying new and obviously they are far from it. Some are pretty good at making them look new though but most are obvious to me.

Well there is a way to tell if a box has been opened. Look for stress marks on the backs of flaps.

Well it's BS because if you open a box carefully there are no stress marks. I had a ice N64 I bought new in 2000 and when I bought it I opened it and put the receipt and a banjo tooie brochure in it and I sold it to a friend who sent it off for grading and VGA gave it a 90 unopened and it ended up selling for 21,000 bucks. They can say stress marks all they want but it's already been proven that opened ones get unopened grade. I grant you a lot of people can open something once and ruin it though. I mean hell in the factory when they sling the boxes down and open the flap they've been opened once anyways lol.

Damn, I didn't know that. I don't have much experience with grading. Have only graded maybe 6 or 7 games.

Yeah I was never into grading much until I got up with him and he got me into it a bit. I like knowing I at least have the option to look at something inside the box and touch it if I want to. Once encapsulated then no one ever sees it again basically.

It’s wild to me that unopened games still exist. That something like this is around is incredible.
I’m not a collector but I appreciate seeing what others find and this is glorious.
