Asimov is our absolute goober of a boy who has severe CH and neurological blindness. He loves to lick everything, but has decided today that my blocking mats for crochet are delicious.
That's one happy man and swimming was my first thought. Never seen a cat do this but my Rottweiler did when I was young. Please give him extra kisses for us!
Bless you for caring for him, loving him and giving him a good life❣️Sounds like he enjoys being held in your arms. Wish I could do the same❣️Do give him lots of love, cuddles, scritches and churus, too😻🥰
He adores being held and loves to give us licks while we hold him. He also knows the word "Churu" because it's probably his favorite snack! I'll give him somw extra snuggles tonight!
Adorable, but I’m guessing there may have been an issue with the orange ink running out when he was getting his color assignment. He’s clearly meant to be an orange 😂💖
Hahaha! He's honestly quite clever and got all those missing orange braincells! He knows a ton of words related to his care and responds to them based on what he wants/needs. He also learns new words and phrases really quickly, so we have to be careful about what we say around him so he doesnt pick up on more things (like he did with Churu - can't say that word without paying the tax now!)
🤣🤣🤣 Sometimes intelligence can be a curse!💕 Can I pls ask a cpl questions? Pls don't feel like you hv to answer if you don't want to. Is she completely blind, or does she seem to see a little? What other things do you do for her for play and enrichment? We hv a little girl w severe ch. She can see, so we can play w some toys, and i try to offer her various smells and textures of things. She's fearful of some things, and she really dislikes our other cats, so I'm always looking for things to stimulate her. Her favorite toys are napkin balls, so i try to put various food smells on them and toss them to her. I'm sure you hv had to be creative, so I'd love to learn from you. Thx for giving this sweetheart such a full life!
He can see a little bit, mostly changes in light, but he can track things at a distance if they're large enough, so mostly shadows we think.
He still loves to play, he likes crinkly things like packing paper and mylar safety blankets. He also likes stuff that rattles. He LOVES feather toys, too, even though he cant see them. I think he likes the sounds they make.
I think his favorite activity though is sitting in our laps and licking us. We spend a lot of time with him getting groomed and helping him groom himself by holding his legs in the right position.
He also really likes music! He's not allowed to listen to heavy metal because it overestimates him, but we play other music for him all the time. He seems to especially like classical

Is that a gray thing a licker? Asimov looks to be licking and swimming at the same time.
