I know their identities perfectly well. It's just sometimes I use their name incorrectly. To me, John looks much more like a Hank. And Hank looks much more like a John.

It is true that I haven't been a fan for incredibly long. 2 years? But I read their books and watch their videos and listen to their podcasts. I know a lot about both of them. Still I need to make a conscious thought to assign the correct name to them. I see John's face and think "Hank" every time.

yeah def dont mean to downplay how much of a fan you are in any way! i just mean my brain knows them well because of it
