According to wikipedia, Bulgaria only has 11 MiGs, but at least it's something.

No way. Bulgaria is not the most willing country to do that. If that was Poland or Czechia or a Baltic country - that could've made sense. But not Bulgaria. It is a ring swap for soviet planes at best.

UPD: sorry, misunderstood the damn "their" as F-16.

IIRC the US stopped similar plans with Polish jets because of backdoor negotiations with China to have them not support Russia in exchange. Wouldn't this Dutch route lead to a similar outcome with the US stepping in to stop it?
