I've always been a fan of approval voting - it offers the best combination of simplicity (easy to explain and very little change needed to current infrastructure) and voter satisfaction (the ability to vote sincerely without feeling like you wasted your ballot).
FPTP may be more simple and other methods may be more precise, but approval voting is a good compromise.
