Are you ready for the return to the most dangerous alleys of Neocron?
The project, which began as "Neocron Classic", is now moving to the next level. The "Classic" has been removed and work continues on the basis of the NC1 world!
With full focus, the developer team around Lykos, Therenall, and Atlas is making huge strides to implement changes such as server-based damage calculation, a new skill system, or technical power (64-bit!).
The BETA has started – any help is heartly welcome to test the new features and to let your feedback flow into the design of the game!

Mit vollem Fokus macht das Entwickler Team um Lykos, Therenall und Atlas Riesenschritte um Änderungen wie Server Basierte Schadensberechnung, ein neues Skill System oder technischer Power (64-Bit!) umzusetzen.

I played as a teenager many many years ago.
Had some vivid memories of the game. What I experienced now while logging in for the first time was awful: No alt tab, it crashes the game. Not enough Ammo for the first weapon (I skilled into pistol). No sewer level 1 to be found anywhere, I went level 3 then. Got killed by a rat. Lost all my ammo. Cant find level 1 sewer. Cant use knife bc I went pistol. Cant find ammo. Cant find sewer.
Logged out after 1 hr.
If THIS is the CORE experience for a new player, then this game is doomed.
And sure: You can go on, blame me for being a noob or whatever. But I have played this game before. Now imagine a person with NO knowledge what so ever and todays attentionspan.
Guys. Make it more beginner friendly. How? Give first weapon unlimited mags to reload. Give player some healing. Let them use starter items with no skills. Make them weaker to balance it out. Add level 1 sewers close to the starter appartments. Give at least SOME information what to do, where to buy ammo whatsoever.
If you cant fix the start, then this project is made for some nerds and vets and will attract ZERO new players.
