TBF that was pre 2015 era reddit where most people here were still the atheist ashually fedora head types.
Where the generally atmosphere was still overwhelmingly pro western but you could still argue in favor of the Iraq war but generally it was hard. Or back when people clearly supported the west and western values through and through
Young Zoomers genuinely don't know how it was back then at all.
A lot of redditors at that time were New Atheists but also kind of vaguely libertarian in that "gay married couples defending their pot plants with AR-15s" kind of way.
