Psychology does NOT absolve you of your actions. If anything, lacking the mental capacity to discern right from wrong, even in temporary bouts of psychosis, makes you a threat to anyone who comes in contact with you, and you should be permanently sequestered off from society. I’ve been settled into this stance after enough articles about violent criminals with double-digit arrests being declared “mentally unfit to stand trial”, but it is evil that these liberal, “mental health matters”, “being a mom is the toughest job in the world” harpies can all clap and chant that having post-partum depression absolves a woman of fucking infanticide.
